ABWA Official Website – On Thursday, December 29, 2022, in an interview with ABNA, the Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly explained the programs of the exhibition “Lights of Guidance”.
Regarding the objectives of holding this exhibition Hojat al-Salam Dr. Mahdi Farmanian stated, “One of the important tasks of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is coordinating and synergizing all institutions active in the propagating the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings in the international arena.”
“The Lights of Guidance exhibition will be held on the occasion of the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the martyrdom anniversary of General Soleimani, by inviting about forty institutions and private centers having successful activities in the international arena. The exhibition welcomes all the capacities of these institutions, including research, education and cyberspace, which have been collected by the monitoring of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly,” he added.
“All the institutions active in the international propagation of Islam, in addition to getting to know each other, should be aware of each other’s capacities and abilities in order to avoid parallel work and wasted costs,” expressed the Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Qom seminary and clergy should also be aware of the activities of these institutions in order to expand their activities through them. Because even though there are many enthusiasts for this field, due to lack of information about these activities, there is no ability to cooperate. The exhibition aims to achieve these goals,” he further added.
“To realize the modern Islamic civilization, all the universities and research institutes of the Islamic world must first know each other,” Farmanian said, “Then in the next phase, share their achievements in different fields.”
“We invited 60 major seminary and university institutions in Qom to visit this exhibition and get to know the capabilities of these internationally active institutions and learn about the capacities of this field. The financial and educational capacity of large institutions and the successful experience of small institutions in the international arena will be instructive,” said the Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“In the opening ceremony of the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, the Secretary General of the Assembly will give a speech. The exhibition will be held from Saturday December 31, 2022, to Thursday January 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary located in Shuhada Crossroad, Qom, from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.,” he stated regarding the opening ceremony of the Lights of Guidance exhibition.
“We invite all those who are concerned with publishing the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings to participate in this exhibition and learn about the capacity of successful institutions in the international propagation of Islam,” Dr. Farmanian said in the end.
