ABWA Official Website – In a brief interview with ABNA News Agency Ms. Jamila Saktisha, a Shiite woman, and a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, missionary and cultural activist in Thailand stated, “I, Jamila Saktisha from Thailand, studied at “Al-Zahra University for Women in Qom” for 4 years, and now I am engaged in activities in the cultural field, as well as giving speeches at Thai Shiite ceremonies. I am a freelance missionary among the Shiites in Thailand, and I offer counseling to young people who have family or social problems and help them correct the mistakes they have made. Among my other activities is marriage counseling.
Regarding measures to strengthen the family foundation among Thai Shiites, she said, “Among my activities is writing articles on the importance of family foundation in the Thai language, and I use the tradition of the Infallibles when counseling clients on family matters.”
In order to strengthen and maintain the relationship between the Shiites of the world, she suggested, “I suggest using the capacity of virtual space to strengthen the communication between the Shiites of the world. By using this method, Shiites from different countries of the world can learn from each other and give each other suggestions to strengthen their activities. Holding the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is also a very good measure, and by attending the General Assembly I could communicate with Shiite women from different countries of the world and use their activities and experiences.”
Regarding the country and people of Iran, she said, “The good things we learned were from the Iranians, so the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the sacrifice of the Iranian martyrs are very valuable to us. Our religious preaching is thanks to the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.), and the Supreme Leader.”
