ABWA Official Website – On Thursday, November 9, 2023, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Kalb Javad Naqvi, Chairman of the Shiite Ulama Assembly of India, attended the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the Assembly.
While expressing his satisfaction at the meeting with Hojat al-Islam Sayed Kalb Javad Naqvi, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Indian Shiites have rendered great services to the Shiite world in the past. Allameh Mir Hamid Hussain, the author of the book Abaqat Al-Anwar, did a great service to strengthen the thought of Imamate with his book.”
“Considering the requirements of today’s world, adequate attention should be paid to fostering rational Shiism in India,” he emphasized.
Referring to the important capacities of propagation, minbar, and tribunes such as Friday prayers and congregations, Ayatollah Ramazani added, “Friday prayer is an important base, and it is hoped that you will use this capacity to further strengthen Shiism, especially in Lucknow.”
Emphasizing the necessity of holding classes and teaching high levels of the Islamic seminary in India, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly announced the readiness of the Assembly to help and cooperate in this regard in India.
Further in this meeting, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Kalb Javad Naqvi also considered the cooperation of dignitaries and ulama of India in various scientific and cultural fields as necessary.
“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) International News Agency - ABNA - and WikiShia encyclopedia are among the good capacities that should be strengthened,” he said, referring to the appropriate capacities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
Welcoming the opinion of Ayatollah Ramazani in strengthening the teaching of higher levels of the Islamic seminary in India, the Chairman of the Shiite Ulam Assembly of India stated, “Planning to hold and teach higher levels of the seminary is a positive action and we will cooperate in this field.”
