ABWA Official Website – On Monday noon, February 6, 2023, on the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the Blessed Days of Fajr (from Bahman 12, the anniversary of the return of Imam Khomeini to Iran, to Bahman 22, the day that the Pahlavi regime was overthrown), the Secretary General, directors and staff of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, together with a group of the students of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University, attending the shrine of Imam Khomeini (r.a.) renewed their allegiance with the ideals of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution.
In a speech at this ceremony, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “In the present era, Islam has been able to show the human, Islamic, and divine values to the world in the strict and true sense of the word, and this is one of the outstanding and crucial points. The realization of such a model in human society by Islam in the modern era was unimaginable for many. Many experts did not even imagine that Islam could introduce a political model in governance. But Imam Khomeini (r.a.) as a teacher of the revolution, taught us and the world, and created this belief,” he added.
Referring to the different literature of the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.), the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “On some occasions, the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) emphasized that the oppressed of the world should get their rights. One of the objectives of the Islamic Republic and the Islamic Revolution has been to fulfill the rights of the oppressed in the world and remove oppression from human society. The oppression of some people with different means against human society is an obstacle for humanity to reaching felicity. The Arrogant people of the world must be eliminated and thrown into the dustbin of history.”
“About the Eastern Bloc, the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) had emphasized this point, but they did not believe it,” he added, “But this happened and Islam with all its means and features faced global arrogance.”
“Islam came for the real dignity of human beings, and this dignity must be preserved. It is not acceptable that some people are slaves of others. The era of old and modern slavery is over, and slavery and servitude as a system in human society should not be allowed to play their colonial role,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.
“Some people distort Islam and present deviated forms of liberal Islam and ISIS Islam, instead of Islam based on rationality, spiritualism, and justice,” emphasized Ayatollah Ramazani, a member of the Assembly of Experts for Leadership.
Referring to the non-stop movement of the Revolution train, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Many tried to stop this train but failed so far. Considering such a national will that exists in the nation and in the oppressed of the world, and with the view that the Supreme Leader of the Revolution has taught us all, the enemies of Islam and the Revolution will never achieve their goals.”
Further in his speech, mentioning the recent events in the country, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “In these riots, more than one hundred countries were involved to change the views and atmosphere with a hybrid war. Meanwhile, some were deceived, and they should be dealt with accordingly. But those who were the leaders of the riots who wanted to overthrow the government should be dealt with properly.”
“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has the duty to introduce the AhlulBayt (a.s.) culture to elites and members of the society, as well as Shiites, Muslims, and non-Muslims of the world,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.
Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Very valuable and expensive costs have been paid for the Revolution. The purest blood has been sacrificed for the victory, survival, and occurrence of the Revolution. In order to achieve security in Iran and Islamic countries, the Islamic Revolution sincerely offered prominent martyrs such as Haj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.”
“It is thanks to this very Resistance that today the geography of Resistance has been expanded,” he added, “Today, in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Bahrain, and even in Latin America and many other countries, it has been theorized to resist against the mammonist and bullies of the world, and everyone has accepted the fact that there is no room for oppression, tyranny, and colonialism anymore.”
“We are steadfast in our agreement with the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.), and until the end of our lives, we will stand by the ideals that the great founder of the Islamic Revolution fought for. We will stand against those who want to oppress the world with their many tools during the era of ultra-neocolonialism,” said the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the end. /345/
