ABWA Official Website – In his speech for the students of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University on the occasion of the Student’s Day, the president of the university stated, “We should introduce Iran to you and as hosts, do our best for you. Today is Student Day and it is dedicated to you. Because if there are no students, there will be no university, and if there are no students and no university, there will be no professor either. To help promote science and meet the scientific, research and specialized needs of Muslim students and researchers and empower them, as well as contribution to introduce Islamic culture and civilization, in 2004, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University was established in the form of a limited academic center at the postgraduate level. Then in 2011, it started its activities as a comprehensive university.”
“With faculty members specialized in various academic fields, this university has hosted students of many different nationalities, and is proud to accept applicants from all over the world,” Hojat al-Islam Jazari added, “This university is also proud to be a member of the International Association of Universities, affiliated to UNESCO. In addition to education, AhlulBayt (a.s.) University annually hosts professors and researchers of Oriental studies for study opportunities from all over the world. Thanks to the special attention of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the University is a place for teaching and publishing science for Muslim students. It is your right to know the leader of Shiites in the world, who has held more than 48 meetings dedicated to students and universities in past 33 years.”
“In these 48 sessions, the intellectual foundation in the speech of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution was based on the five axes of behavior, intellectual character, duty, lifestyle and political attitude of the students. The West seeks cultural expansion among students focusing on the spiritual concepts,” said the president of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University.
“Ethics is an important issue for students. We will not reach any goal without ethics. Morality is the most important characteristic for a student. The Supreme Leader demands a fully moral Muslim student. Now there is an intellectual path for intellectual students who are fully ethical Muslim. If this intellectual view is formed in Muslim students, and they remain committed to the values, it can lead the student to the desired goal. The West seeks cultural expansion among students focusing on the spiritual concepts. The Supreme Leader has raised 70 issues regarding the duty of students, the aim of all of which is emphasizing on reaching the peaks of science and knowledge,” continued Hojat al-Islam Jazzari.
“We expect that each of you can become a scientific reference in your field. You Muslim students should not be negligence or left behind in scientific fields. The student environment has its requirements, and it is a rough time. You can go through this period by considering issues such as simple living, avoiding luxury living and planning for a successful life. We are obliged to provide the minimum necessary facilities, or more, for you students. Because if you are concerned about your livelihood, you cannot be expected to succeed in your studies,” said the president of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University.
Emphasizing on the importance of the planning in a way that leads to the academic success of the students, the president of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University concluded, “The Supreme Leader of the Revolution presents the political attitude in three parts: First, religion is not separate from politics; Second, the importance of having the political analysis to understand events; Third, refraining from partisanship and excesses in politics.” /345/
