On Tuesday morning, August 2, 2022, in the morning ceremony of the fourth day of Muharram in the courtyard of the shrine of Lady Fatimah Okhra (a.s.), sister of Imam Reza (a.s.), in Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Thanks to the Imam Hussain (a.s.), man has been called to dignity. To reach this dignity, one should try.”
“God has given us the blessings that cannot be counted,” Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “It is obligatory for us to thank God for every blessing he has given us. At least acknowledging that we are in the abundance of the God’s blessings is appreciable Attending the mourning ceremony for Imam Hussain (a.s.) is a great blessing from God. Every ceremony held for Imam (a.s.) is considered a shrine for him.”
“Imam Hussain (a.s.) is the Imam of humanity, whose blessed existence brings blessings everywhere. God bestows sustenance to all creatures for the sake of Infallible Imams (a.s.),” emphasized the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
“According to the hadith of Imam Reza (a.s.), a true believer has three characteristics. A believer must have a tradition from God, a tradition from his Prophet, and a tradition from his Imam. The tradition of the God is to conceal His secrets, the tradition of the Prophet is to be tolerant and gentle with people, and the tradition of the Imam is to be patient in times of hardship and distress,” he said.
“Humans should always ask God for sustenance, one which is the sustenance of jihad, which is not easily attained. Because Jihad is not a field of words and speech. Sustenance for Jihad is the sustenance for revenge for Imam Hussain (a.s.) and truth against falsehood. The revenge for Imam Hussain (a.s.) should be studied and explained in detail to prevent the abuse of enemies of the topic.” Ayatollah Ramazani stated.
“Islam is a religion of mercy and there are many Quranic verses in this regard. However, in addition to this mercy, there is the issue of revenge for the blood in Islam. Some ask whether revenge for blood is compatible with God’s mercy. They argue that if Islam is the religion of mercy, the Quran is the book of mercy, and the Holy Prophet of Islam (p.b.u.h) was sent for mercy, then what does revenge for blood mean, and doesn’t revenge for blood promote the culture of violence? In response, it should be said that revenge for blood means confronting false thought which seeks to steal and destroy the thought, religion, and morals of humanity. Definitely, revenge for blood is not in conflict with mercy, reconciliation and just peace,” added the member of the Council of Leadership Experts.
“Some wrongly attributed violence, power-seeking and bellicosity to Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h). We must reach knowledge because we are the defenders of the great cause of Islam. Believers should take a stand against lies and vices. Betrayal and lies always happen in the past, present and future. We must confront those who attack the roots of humanity like weeds and hinder the guidance of humans. This is a principle: we should fight those who seek to destroy the family, the sacred things and God,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“The school of Imam Hussain (a.s.) is the school of freedom, liberation and honor,” concluded the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that the school of Imam Hussain (a.s.) does not accept humiliation and captivity.
