ABWA Official Website – On the sidelines of the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, ABNA reporter interviewed Mr. Amir Reza Sohrabifar, in charge of the booth of the Owais al-Qarani Institute.
Stating that the main activity of Owais al-Qarani Institute is teaching the Russian language and training missionaries, he said, “The institute carries out translation of Islamic terms into Russian and translation from Russian into Persian. Research is one of the other activities of this institution.”
“A decade passed since the inception of Owais al-Qarani Institute,” Sohrabifar added, “and its graduates are now teaching as professors,”.
“Owais al-Qarani Institute is a bridge between Russian Muslims and Iran,” said the exhibitor of the booth of the Owais al-Qarani Institute in the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition.
Referring to the Lights of Guidance exhibition, Mr. Sohrabifar, in charge of the booth of the Owais al-Qarani Institute stated, “The main idea of setting up this exhibition is great, and it will be effective. But there is a need for better and wider call for the next rounds of the exhibition.”
It should be mentioned that on the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the exhibition of the achievements of institutions and organizations active in the international propagation of Islam, entitled “Lights of Guidance” is being held from Saturday, December 31, 2022, until January Thursday 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary.
It is worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiites seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from real and legal capabilities of Shiites.
The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/
