ABWA Official Website – On the sidelines of the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, ABNA reporter interviewed Hojat al-Islam Mahdi Sadeqi, in charge of the booth of the “Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) Institute of Pakistan”.
About the activities of this institution, he said, “In 2011, “Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) Institute of Pakistan” was established in accordance with the Hadith of Thaqalayn, and it has been pursuing Quranic, educational, preaching, cultural, economic and media activities for eleven years.”
“If we take a step to promote the culture of the Family of Revelation, God and AhlulBayt (a.s.) will help us. We started with empty hands, and by the grace of God and the auspicious of AhlulBayt (a.s.), we carried out influential activities,” said the exhibitor of the booth of Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) Institute of Pakistan.
“In Pakistan we have a seminary for sisters where 75 sisters are studying. During Muharram and Ramadan, we send missionaries to deprived areas of Pakistan where no one is willing to go. Our missionaries go to villages that do not even have mobile network coverage. Recently, Mr. Heydari, the head of our institute, went to an area near the second highest mountain of the world, settled there for six months and was engaged in missionary work,” he added.
About the media activities of the Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) Institute, Hojat al-Islam Sadeqi said, “We have been active in media for eight years. But we had limited our activities for a couple of years due to Covid-19. Our media activity is in Urdu and Balti languages. Urdu language is spoken in Bangladesh and India. We do our media work according to the objective issues of the society.”
Regarding the authored works of the Quran and AhlulBayt Institute, he said, “Mr. Heydari, the head of the Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) Institute, has written a book entitled “Armaghan-e Nei” about Imam Hussain (a.s.) in a narrative style and in Persian language.
“Because in our region, there is a need for books in simple Persian language. In our region, in the past, correspondence and settlement of claims were done in Farsi. Mr. Heydari has authored the book “Ghadir from the Shiite and Sunni perspective”, which is a summary of “Al-Ghadir” and “Al-Abaqat”. The book is written in Urdu language. Because Wahhabis are also active in the region,” said the exhibitor of the booth of Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) Institute of Pakistan.
“This exhibition does its job well. Because it awakens people’s thoughts about Islam and enemy activities. At the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, mutual understanding is created between different institutions, which is very pleasant. I visited all the booths. Getting each other’s phone numbers, being in touch, and sharing experiences is so valuable, and we can create a great union with the institutions that are present here,” he commented in the end on the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition.
It should be mentioned that on the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the exhibition of the achievements of institutions and organizations active in the international propagation of Islam, entitled “Lights of Guidance” is being held from Saturday, December 31, 2022, until January Thursday 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary.
It is worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiites seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from real and legal capabilities of Shiites.
The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/
