In the fourth episode of the special internet program “Facing the Sky”, which is broadcast on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani Gilani stated, “Familiarity and communication with the Quran is one of the important points that should be considered in the holy month of Ramadan.”
“According to Imam Sadiq (a.s.), “one who does not read 50 verses of the Quran daily, cannot consider himself a Muslim”,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that one should continue the connection with the Quran throughout the year.
“We must strive for the Quran to be manifested in us. We must understand the truths and teachings of the divine book and present ourselves to the Quran,” he said, stating that one should listen to the Quran carefully, recite it beautifully and contemplate on it.
“Those who present themselves to the Quran try to conform to the verses and demands of the Holy Book,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.
“Because the word of God is in accordance with human Fitrah (innate nature), it affects the human soul,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that the verses of the Quran should be read with understanding, comprehension, and attention.
“Those who are acquainted with the Quran will be guided in this world and the Hereafter will be supported by this divine book,” he stated.
“The Quran answers human questions: what are we, why did we come (to the world), how should we live and what is the way to happiness. The Quran invites man to real life,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that according to the Hadiths, the Quran will intercede for man on the Day Qiyamah.
“The Holy Quran does not consider human personality based on their wealth, power, and responsibility. Rather, it defines human personality by human faith, beliefs, and actions,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the fact that the Holy Quran introduces the true personality of man to him.
“With the right thinking and belief and morals and righteous deeds, we must be able to achieve spiritual growth,” he mentioned.
“The Quran is a book that gives the best advice to man and never deceives man,” stated Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to the words of Imam Ali (a.s.) about the Quran.
“The holy month of Ramadan is the best opportunity to know the path that the Quran has specified. The path that, if properly known, will lead us to the destination of happiness,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the end.
