In a message, the member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the Deputy of International Affairs of the Office of the Supreme Leader expressed his condolences on the death of “Anis Naghash”, Lebanese Mujahid, thinker and researcher.
The text of the condolence message is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
“مِنَ المُؤمِنینَ رِجالٌ صَدَقوا ما عاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَیهِ ۖ فَمِنهُم مَن قَضیٰ نَحبَهُ وَمِنهُم مَن یَنتَظِرُ ۖ وَما بَدَّلوا تَبدیلًا”
“Of the believers are men who are true to that which they covenanted with Allah. Some of them have paid their vow by death (in battle), and some of them still are waiting; and they have not altered in the least;” (Holy Quran, 33:23)
The death of the tireless fighter and Mujahid, “Anis Naghash” caused great grief and sorrow. The Cause of Palestine and Holy Quds had pervaded the thought of this prominent figure in the Islamic world and the Resistance Front.
As an expressive voice for the free and deprived of the world, he devoted his blessed life to defending the oppressed around the world, and he did not miss a moment of intellectual, cultural, and media struggle to elevate the oppressed.
Anis Naghash’s courageous support for the rights of the Iranian people against the global arrogant front is one of the highlights of his career that will not be erased from the memory of the great nation of Iran and the freedom fighters of the world.
I offer my condolences to the friends, relatives and family of this tireless fighter and mujahid, and I ask God for him the exaltation and extensive forgiveness.
