ABWA Official Website – Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, attended the session of cultural consultation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
In this session, referring to the capacities of Tanzania, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “The country is full of capacities, and Africa as a whole is a rich continent whose wealth has been plundered by colonialists.”
“Tanzania is at the top of the East African countries,” Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly continued, “This country was influential in the independence of East African countries, and after its independence, other East African countries went towards independence. In terms of capacity, Tanzania has many capacities that should be identified more precisely.”
While pointing to the priority of cultural works, he stated, “Activities for the approximation of Islamic denominations are low-cost and should be considered as one of the priorities. Today, the way for dialogue is paved. But dialogue requires follow-up, and for that, webinars are the least expensive method. On the other hand, by the grace of God, the discourse of the Islamic Revolution is conveyed to some extent by the active diplomacy of the Islamic Republic.”
Referring to Iranian nationals living abroad as a capacity, Ayatollah Ramezani emphasized strengthening the Persian language and added, “The Supreme Leader of the Revolution emphasizes the Persian language as the language of science and culture. We can present this language as the language of science in the world.”
“All work should be localized, and training local staff is crucial,” he continued.
In this session, the Iranian ambassador in Tanzania, while emphasizing the need to work seriously on the Persian language and literature, stated, “Scientific, academic, and cultural cooperation is of great importance in the relations between the two countries.”
