On the Thursday evening, June 2, 2022, in a meeting with the CEO and members of the “Salamat & Isar of Gilan” cultural institute for blood donation, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “According to the hadiths, whoever saves a man from death is like saving mankind from death.”
Noting that blood donation is a good deed, and can be considered a remnant of the righteous, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Everyone should seek to save human lives and provide services to them.”
“The culture of blood donation should be created in radio, television, and social media. In this regard, making animation and motion graphic with the theme of encouraging people to donate blood, can be helpful,” he added.
“Compiling a comprehensive and statistical annual report, and presenting it to different organizations, will lead to the development of the activities of “Salamat & Isar of Gilan” cultural institute for blood donation. Also, having a website for instant information and reporting on social media is effective in building public trust and encouraging people to do good,” Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out.
“Blood donation is a humanitarian act that saves people,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “By nature, saving human lives makes people happy, and is of great importance.”
“Islam also recommends humane and rational actions, such as blood donation, which help fellow human beings. It should be noted that sometimes by donating our blood we can save a human life,” Ayatollah Ramazani concluded.
