ABWA Official Website – Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, who traveled to Burundi at the invitation of Shiites and Muslims of the country, met with a group of Burundian Sunni figures.
In this meeting, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “We must have a comprehensive understanding of Islam. AhlulBayt (a.s.) has invited us to both outward and inward affairs. There are detailed mystical aspects in the words of Infallibles (a.s.). For example, Dua Arafah is full of mystical concepts.”
About the mystical concepts of Dua Arafah, he said, “A paragraph of Dua Arafah, addressing the God Almighty, reads, “The eye that does not see You is blind, and no one but Yourself can introduce You to us.” One of the aspects of the comprehensiveness of Islam is that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) invite us both to solitude and to be present in society. It means that we should have tahajjud and night prayer and participate in society. Also, it should be noted that responsibility does not have only individual aspects, but individual aspects along with social ones.”
“AhlulBayt (a.s.) invites us to inner affairs. Therefore, they said that, in addition to the appearance, the Quran has inner concepts up to seven, but up to seventy. Unfortunately, some Muslims are only superficial. Maybe someone says Salah a lot and says a lot of Dhikr. But he does not have any understanding of Salah and Dhikr,” continued the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“If someone does not have the inner concepts of Islam, he has not benefited from the spirit of Islam. Of course, we believe that Infallible Imams (a.s.) are Imams both outwardly and inwardly. Therefore, they invite us to individual and congregational prayers,” he said at the end.
