In the gathering of the members of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the shrine of Imam Reza (a.s.), referring to the hosting of Astan Quds Razavi from the members of the General Assembly, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “Astan Quds Razavi appropriately hosted the members of the Assembly during their visit to Mashhad. The Department for International Affairs of this Astan took a lot of effort in this regard.”
“The servants of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (a.s.), because of their devotion to this Imam, welcomed the members of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. I appreciate Ayatollah Marvi, the custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, for this hospitality,” he continued.
Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “The schedule of the 7th General Assembly was intensive.”
Referring to a hadith of Imam Sadeq (a.s.), Ayatollah Ramazani said, “According to a hadith, a person does not become a believer unless he has a tradition from the Lord which is to hide secrets; have a tradition from His Prophet, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) that is tolerance with people; and have a tradition from His saint, which is to be patient in hardships.”
“Hiding people’s secrets is one of divine graces, and God hides our secrets,” he continued.
“In a hadith, Imam Reza (a.s.) stated, “Whoever comes for my pilgrimage, I will also visit him.” Of course, such pilgrimage must be accompanied by knowing and understanding the status of the Imam,” noted the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
Referring to the definition of Imam Reza’s pilgrimage, Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out, “Many followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school in Africa may not be able to come for pilgrimage of Imam Reza (a.s.) for many years. Will Imam Reza (a.s.) visit them too? (Yes) Anyone who intends to have pilgrimage is included among the pilgrims of Imam Reza (a.s.).”
“One of the results of pilgrimage to Imam Reza (a.s.) is the forgiveness of past and future sins of the pilgrim. However, this is not a guarantee for a person to commit any sins. The fact that Imam Reza (a.s.) forgives a person’s sins means that if a person commits a sin that has lingering effects, Imam Reza (a.s.) will also forgive him for that sin,” he continued.
“All divine prophets, including Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), have cried for Imam Hussain (a.s.). One day Umm Salma asked the Prophet (p.b.u.h), “Why is your face dusty?” He replied, “God’s angels took me to Karbala, and this is the dust of Karbala. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) gave some soil to Umm Salma and added, “When this soil turns red, know that Imam Hussain (a.s.) has been martyred,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“In a hadith, Imam Reza (a.s.) stated, “When you want to cry for loneliness and exile, cry for Imam Hussain (a.s.)”,” he said in the end.
