ABWA Official Website – On the eve of the 12th anniversary of the Bahraini revolution, ABNA reporter interviewed the Vice President of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
In this interview, while pointing out that Bahraini people are oppressed, devoted, zealous, brave, and followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.), Ayatollah Ghorbanali Dorri-Najafabadi stated, “Since the advent of Islam, the people of this country have been in the service of Islam and the infallible and immaculate AhlulBayt (a.s.), and they have worked diligently and sacrificed to advance Islamic goals.”
Regarding the support of the Bahraini people of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “During the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the Bahraini people accompanied the Revolution and the noble nation of Iran and did not neglect in this path. Also, the respectable ulama of Bahrain, including our honorable brother Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, as well as the clergy, clerics, and oppressed intellectuals supported the Bahraini revolution in mosques and Hussainiyas.”
“Unfortunately, instead of respecting its people and ulama, the oppressive regime of Bahrain treats the Bahrainis in the same way that the Pahlavi regime treated Iranians,” he said about the situation in Bahrain, “They (Al Khalifa) should learn from the fate of Saddam, the Shah of Iran, Hosni Mubarak, and Gaddafi. The nations sent these dictators to the dustbin of history. Instead of torturing the Bahraini people and youth, the Al Khalifa regime should learn from the fate of those dictators.”
Regarding the normalization of relations between the Al Khalifa regime and the Zionist regime, Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi said, “Unfortunately, the Al Khalifa regime has recently, in a very wrong move, normalized relations with Israel and criminal Zionism. This means Al Khalifa is complicit in the bloodshed of the oppressed people of Gaza and Jenin. Al Khalifa wrongly thinks that can find a way to save itself through its relationship with Israel. But they are wrong. This is a deviant way and will not have a good fate.”
Stating that the House of Al Khalifa is condemned in history and before Muslim nations, he added, “Muslims categorically reject any kind of relationship with Israel. In the soccer world cup in Qatar, people showed strong reactions to the flag of the Zionist regime and the tendency towards this regime. The Arab nations expressed their hatred and disgust for any kind of connection with Israel. Today, we must say that the people of Bahrain hate the Zionist regime and the dependents of the fake regime. Bahrainis hate Israel’s presence in the holy land of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and the land of brave and zealous people of Bahrain and other Islamic countries. I hope the leaders of these countries will come to their senses and stop being stubborn, hostile, and cruel because cruelty does not lead to good. The end of oppression is nothing but suffering, overthrow, and humiliation in this world and the hereafter. Eventually, the victory belongs to the nations and also to the people who are willing to stand for God in the way of religion, faith, dignity, and honor, and in the way of confronting the conspirators, arrogance, and criminal Zionists. Bahraini martyrs have multiplied rewards in front of God and will be united with the martyrs of Karbala. Also, the families of martyrs, the bereaved families, and those who have sacrificed are blessed in front of God.”
The representative of Vali-e Faqih in Markazi Province continued, “I hope Al-Khalifah comes to its senses and ends the oppression of Bahrainis, does not allow the killing of the oppressed people of Bahrain by foreigners, and allows Bahrainis to decide their destiny with dignity, honor, faith, Wilayat and AhlulBayt (a.s.). God will help the noble people of Bahrain in this holy jihad. Victory belongs to the oppressed people of Bahrain. God has said in the Holy Quran that oppressors and tyrants will be punished in this world and the hereafter, and God will take revenge for the oppressed nation from the oppressors. In the path it has chosen, the nation of Bahrain will achieve victory through trust in God, unity, faith, following the ulama, and spiritual, moral, social, and political cohesion.”
Regarding the positions of major and regional powers on the uprising of the Bahraini people, he stated, “America, Saudi Arabia, and Israel are opposed to the fact that the people of Bahrain want to rise up and stand on their own feet, and they do not want a holy land like Bahrain to be in the arms of Islam and AhlulBayt (a.s.). Al Saud is Wahhabi, and the Americans want the Islam of whoever rules in this region to be American Islam. They are wrong. God willing, the resistance of the honorable people of Palestine, Gaza, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, and Yemen’s Ansarullah will be a great lesson for the victory of the nations, especially the honorable people of Bahrain.” /345/
