The fifth anniversary of the oppressed martyrs of Zaria was held on Saturday, December 12, 2020, in the presence of the family of Sheikh "Ibrahim Zakzaky", the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, and in the presence of a group of thinkers from the Islamic world.
The director of the Kowsar Institute in Turkey said that Nigerian army and government committed Zaria's bloody crime under pressure from the Zionist regime and the Wahhabis, and today is the fifth anniversary of this event.
Ghadir Akaras said that I believe that the Islamic Ummah will give the strongest answers to global imperialism and Zionism with unity on the axis of the Resistance Front.
"Under the hegemony of global Zionism, the blood of the oppressed is shed every day in a part of the world," he said.
"Sheikh Zakzaky in Africa, as the fortress of the Muslim Ummah formed the Islamic Resistance Front and managed to gather millions of people in the axis of pure Islam. The Western world and the World Zionist Front, which saw their interests in Africa as endangered by Zakzaky propagation of pure Islam, took bloody action with all their might and martyred hundreds of Shiites," he added.
"Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife are in prison despite being ill and injured. Zakzaki sacrificed his children in this way and renewed his covenant with God. Nigerian Shiites sacrificed many martyrs to establish an Islamic movement in the area," he said.
Referring to the silence of the Western media about Zaria's crime, he said: "Unfortunately, despite the crimes of the Nigerian army, the Western world and the Western-controlled media remained silent about this bloody incident and did not react."
"Muslims, scholars and non-governmental organizations have a duty to make this event a daily issue in the forums, meetings and in the media and social networks, and especially for those who are active in cyberspace, to consider it their duty and Reflect these crimes in the world's public opinion so that the world can stop this oppression," he said.
It is worth mentioning that on December 13, 2015 when Shiites were mourning Imam Hussain (a.s.) in a Husseiniyah in the city of Zaria in Nigeria, the country's military forces with a previous plan to destroy Shiite Islam in Nigeria raided to the Husseiniyah of Zaria and home of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria and killed more than a thousand Shiites and a number of members of the family of Sheikh Zakzaky and severely injured the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria and his wife and they were taken to prison.
