ABWA Official Website – A group of Shiite women from African countries got acquainted with the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly at the headquarters of this international organization.
During this visit, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Mohammad Reza Al-e Ayyub, Director General of Cultural Services and Publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, presented a report of the Assembly’s activities to the guests.
Among the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, which were explained by Hojat al-Islam Al-e Ayyub, were: WikiShia encyclopedia, AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University of, Thaqalayn satellite TV, publication and translation of hundreds of books, communication with missionaries around the world.
Then, the African Shiite women visited the WikiShia hall and one of the researchers explained the activities of this virtual encyclopedia.
They also visited the office of the ABNA News Agency and one of the officials of ABNA gave explanations about the activities of this international news agency.
It is worth mentioning that these African Shiite women were invited to Iran by Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University and participated in courses.
It is also worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiites seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from real and legal capabilities of Shiites.
The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/
