In a message, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his condolences on the pseudo-martyrdom demise of General “Mohammad Ali Haghbin”, one of Gilani commanders of the Resistance Front.
The message of condolence of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani is as follows:
“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)
The demise of Sardar (General) Haghbin, the commander who conquered (the Syrian cities of) Nubl and al-Zahra, caused great grief and sorrow.
His firm determination on the resistance front, along with his good morals and devotion to the AhlulBayt (a.s.), was always famous among his colleagues and encouraged the steely wills to overthrow the ignorant enemy and the puppets of the international arrogance (the US) on the battlefield against ISIL.
Sardar Haghbin, as a commander of the Defenders of the Shrine, raised the flag of religiosity and belief of the brave sons of Mirza Kuchak Khan region, so that the history of Gilan Province once again adds a page to the devotion of Iranian people to AhlulBayt (a.s.) and the future generation will be proud of it.
While offering my condolences the martyrdom of this commander of the Resistance Front to the Commander-in-Chief, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, I ask God to place him next to the high-ranking martyrs, especially Haj Qasim Soleimani, and to water him from the boundless sea of the love of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and to provide patience and forbearance to his honorable wife and beloved relatives.
He lived and passed away blessedly.
Reza Ramazani
Representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership

It should be mentioned that Sardar “Mohammad Ali Haghbin” was born in 1964 in one of the villages of Langarud city in Gilan province.
Until a few years ago, this Sardar of Islam was the commander of the Quds 16 Operative Division of Gilan. Then, he was appointed as an advisor to the commander of the IRGC ground forces and the commander of the central base of Imam Hussein (a.s.) of the IRGC ground forces.
With the beginning of the activities of terrorist and takfiri groups in Syria and the spread of ISIL, the Quds Division of Gilan, under the command of Sardar Haghbin, was assigned to fight the terrorists.
He was one of the commanders of the operation in which the Shiite cities of Nubl and Al-Zahra were liberated from terrorist siege after four years.
In this operation, Sardar martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani kissed the forehead of Sardar Haghbin, the commander of the operating division, and called the liberation operation of “Nubl” and “Al-Zahra” the conquest of Khyber, and said, “For four years, we were stuck behind this door.”
Sardar Haghbin passed away yesterday due to Covid-19 virus.
