Referring to the importance of the position of women from the Islamic point of view, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “There are about 300 Quranic verses about women. One of the surahs of the Holy Quran is named after one of the purest women, Lady Maryam (a.s.). Also, there is a surah in the Quran called “ٱلنِّسَآء” (An-Nisa: Women). In the Quran, women and men are placed on the same level, and God Almighty has not made any difference between them in terms of rewards for deeds. According to the Quran, if men and women have faith and do righteous deeds, they will be given a felicitous life.”

“A woman has two responsibilities: raising children at home and being a social activist in society. It is not obligatory for a woman to work at home, but in order for a family to be formed, it is morally necessary to do these things. Because relationships at home should be based on ethics,” Ayatollah Ramazani said in the end.
