Pointing out that knowledge, love and obedience are the three characteristics of following Wilayat, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) is the greatest role model in following Wilayat for the general public, especially girls, women and mothers.”

ABWA Official Website – On Monday night, December 26, 2022, during the mourning ceremony for the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) in the Grand Mosque of Lowshan city in Gilan province, while referring to the presence of the anonymous martyr (MIA casualties during the 8-year Iraq-Iran imposed war) in the ceremony, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “In appearance, we host the martyrs, while in the world of meaning, the martyrs are our hosts.”

Pointing out the way that Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) followed the Wilayat of Imam Ali (a.s.), Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Today we should learn from such following Wilayat as a great lesson.”

Mentioning the different dimensions of Lady Zahra’s personality and the need to model her, he emphasized, “Lady Zahra (a.s.) is a complete and comprehensive role model for girls, as well as for mothers and women in society.”

“The Prophet (p.b.u.h) and his wife Khadijah (a.s.) raised their daughter Lady Zahra (a.s.) in the best possible way in the most difficult circumstances,” Ayatollah Ramazani added, “Was born in the most difficult conditions, she raised her children in difficult conditions too.”

“Even when her husband Imam Ali (a.s.) was not at home, Lady Fatimah (a.s.) raised her children in the best way with the least means,” said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

“Lady Zahra (a.s.) is a perfect role model not only for women, but also for all people, especially those who live with faith and belief,” he expressed.

“The personality of Lady Fatimah (a.s.) is so great that when she entered the presence of the Prophet (p.b.u.h), the Prophet (p.b.u.h) would stand in respect for her and go to welcome her. This is the most perfect tribute to a person,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated.

Referring to the Kunya (teknonym) “Um Abiha” (the mother of his father) of Lady Zahra (a.s.), the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) was like a kind mother to her father, and she was the peace for the Prophet (p.b.u.h), as well has for her husband Imam Ali (a.s.). Lady Zahra (a.s.) had great love and devotion to Imam Ali (a.s.). She had spiritual power, and this is mentioned in many hadiths.”

Further, referring to the characteristic and status of following Wilayat, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Knowledge and Ma’arifa (divine understanding) is the first characteristic in following Wilayat. The more Knowledge and Ma’arifa a person has, the more he follows Wilayat.”

“Consider the view of Hazrat Qassim (a.s.) (the son of Imam Hassan (a.s.) who fought and was martyred in the battle of Karbala alongside his uncle Imam Hussain) of martyrdom. Ma’arifa (divine understanding) makes martyrdom sweeter than honey in the eyes of a thirteen-year-old adolescent. Ma’arifa of God’s friend also makes hardships bearable,” said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

“Kindness is the second characteristic in following Wilayat. The greater the Ma’arifa of a person, the greater his love,” he emphasized.

“God’s love is very different from human love. Divine love is a flame that is placed in the heart and soul of a believing and loving person, and it also spreads to those who are next to that person,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.

In the end, referring to obedience as the third characteristic in following Wilayat, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The more knowledge and love a person has, the more he will obey (God and His Friends). Having these three characteristics, a person no longer sees himself and only pays attention to the Guardian.”

It is worth mentioning that the body of an anonymous martyr (MIA casualties during the 8-year Iraq-Iran imposed war) was brought in the martyrdom ceremony of Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) in the Grand Mosque of Lowshan city in Gilan province, and the mourners of Lady Fatimah paid tribute to this martyr. /345/
