Referring to the articles submitted in the Secretariat of the International Conference on the “Tradition and Era of Imam Hassan Askari (a.s.)”, the head of the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy stated, “The articles submitted in this seminar have progressed towards applied research. Although history is the mother of sciences, there is a need to experts from other disciplines on the research on tradition and biography.”

ABWA Official Website - The closing ceremony of the international conference “Tradition and Era of Imam Hassan Askari (a.s.) (Ibn Al-Reza)”, was held on Thursday afternoon, November 3, 2022, in the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy in Pardisan, Qom, with the presence of ulama and scholars.

Although history is the mother of sciences, there is a need to experts from other disciplines, such as political sciences, on the research on tradition and biography.”

“Since a few years ago, I have been thinking about the security history of Infallible Imams (a.s.). There are important topics in the field of information security in the life and tradition of AhlulBayt (a.s.), and those who are interested can conduct studies in this regard,” he continued.

“Today, the history of Islam has gained a valuable identity in the seminary of Qom, and it is thanks to the efforts of the history professors in the seminary. A project titled the “Encyclopedia of AhlulBayt (a.s.)” has been started and this project, when it comes to fruition, is a great step,” added the head of the Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy.

“The international conference “Tradition and Era of Imam Hassan Askari (a.s.)”, which was attended by a group of researchers, was held with the cooperating of the various institutions including the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and Baqir al-Olum University. In this seminar, dignitaries such as Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri and Hojat al-Islam Rafiei gave speeches,” he noted.

After Naser al-Din Shah built a gilded dome for the shrine of Two Askari Imams (a.s.), because he saw the cooperation of the Ottoman government, he decided to restore Abu Hanifa’s tomb with the remaining gold.”

“During his visit to Iraq, when Naser al-Din Shah Qajar realized that there is no Testify to the Wilayah of Imam Ali (a.s.) in the Azan [call to prayer] of the holy shrine of the Imam Hussain (a.s.), got angry and ordered the muezzin of the shrine to testify to Imam Ali Wilayah in the Azan. This action was taken while Iraq was under the control of the Ottoman empire at that time,” he mentioned.
