“Throughout history, great powers such as the Soviet Union and the United States have not allowed Afghanistan to grow. This is while the growth capacity in this country is high. If there was no capacity, talent, and wealth in Afghanistan, they would not have intervened,” he said, referring to the interventions of the great powers in Afghanistan.

“The United States will not leave Afghanistan and will seek to destabilize the country in various ways to prove that its officials cannot secure Afghanistan. Because the United States has invested in Afghanistan and wants to make a profit,” emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“An inclusive government must be established in Afghanistan, otherwise we will witness internal conflicts,” he said, stressing the establishment of an inclusive government, and stating that the situation in Afghanistan is complex.

“The killing of Muslims in this country must be prevented, and this will be achieved with prudence and rationality,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, describing the situation in Afghanistan as sensitive.

“The presence of the Ulama, and the existence of the Ulama Council of Afghanistan, encourages the people of this country,” he said, “The Ulama Council of Afghanistan must be strengthened. Afghan Ulama have never left the scene. For example, Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Ali Alemi Balkhabi, an Afghan Alem who recently passed away, was a courageous and popular figure.”

“The Shiites of Afghanistan, especially the youth, had a significant presence in the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Majalis in Europe. Fifty percent of the participants in the Ashura ceremony at the Islamic Center of Hamburg, which was attended by more than 6,000, were Afghans,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, considering the people of Afghanistan noble, religious and resilient.

“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly pays special attention to Afghanistan. The presence of Hojat al-Islam Sayed Hossein Alemi Balkhi as the representative of the Assembly in Afghanistan is appreciable. The capacities of this country must be more actualized,” he said, emphasizing on the further cooperation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly with the Ulama of Afghanistan.

Also, the attendance of people in Husseiniyahs and mosques was more than in previous years, and there was no problem for Husseini mourners,” he said, referring to the situation of the Shiites in Afghanistan.

“The US-led invasion of Afghanistan was cut off, but the US is a master of conspiracy and has not left the scene,” said the chairman of the Council of Shiite Ulama of Afghanistan, regarding the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.
