Activities of International Charitable Foundation of Muslim and AhlulBayt Lover Doctors

The Secretary-General of the International Charitable Foundation of Muslim and AhlulBayt Lover Doctors said, “Considering continued detention of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, and the deterioration of his physical condition, the Foundation planned and held a series of meetings in order to provide any medical assistance. A trip was also planned, which was postponed for some reason.”

Activities of International Charitable Foundation of Muslim and AhlulBayt Lover Doctors

In the conference “Religion, Health, and Humanitarian Aid” which was held on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.), Dr. Mohammad Hussein Niknam, the Secretary-General of the International Charitable Foundation of Muslim and AhlulBayt Lover Doctors said, “The Muslim Doctors Foundation is a non-governmental organization that works under the auspices of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.”

He went on to describe the activities of the International Charitable Foundation of Muslim and AhlulBayt Lover Doctors:

- Preparing, collecting and sending medical and pharmaceutical aid to Yemen

- A delegation from the Foundation travels to Syria to meet with the Prime Minister and Health Minister of the country, and to donate medicine and pharmaceutical supplies to the Foundation's Mobile Health House.

- Design and launch of the Foundation’s comprehensive website

- Signing a memorandum of cooperation with the Reconstruction Headquarters of Atabat Aaliyat

- Supplying pharmaceutical property for the depot of drugs prepared for delivery to areas suffered from crisis

- Sending the required drug supplies after the tragic earthquake in Ilam and Kermanshah provinces

- Holding several meetings with the Foreign Minister, Health Minister, esteemed Deputies of Foreign Minister, Chairman of the (Imam Khomeini) Relief Foundation, Atabat Reconstruction Headquarters, Chairman of the Red Crescent Society, members of the Syndicate of Human Pharmaceutical Industry Owners, Emergency and representatives of relevant international organizations in Iran

- Making the necessary arrangements to meet the health and medical needs of the city of Samerra, Iraq

- Sending two doctors to Bangladesh

- Setting up a field hospital in Yemen

- Supporting the plan of the national psychosocial-social program in the Kermanshah earthquake

- Visit of a delegation from the Foundation to Oman and meeting with the Health Minister of the country

- Activities in the Arbaeen Hosseini Ceremony and health care training related to pilgrims and distribution of educational brochures

Dr. Niknam continued, “Considering continued detention of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, Secretary-General of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, and the deterioration of his physical condition, the Foundation planned and held a series of meetings in order to provide any medical assistance. A trip was also planned, which was postponed for some reason.”
