On the birth anniversary of Lady Zahra (a.s.) and Women’s Week, the first virtual and international meeting of women followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) with the officials of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

At the meeting, Ms. Delbar Aksu from Turkey stated, “Lady Zahra (a.s.) has a special place for us women. She is a role model for us, and we can learn lessons from her in our lives.”

“Patience of Lady Zahra (a.s.) is one of the characteristics that we can learn from in our lives. Despite all the difficulties, she showed beautiful patience. Spirituality ruled all her positions and life. Also, her kindness, sacrifice and position towards her family are very important. Her life is a model for us in various fields,” said the director of Beit Al-Zahra (a.s.) in Istanbul, referring to the life of Lady Zahra (a.s.).

“Lady Zahra’s (a.s.) relationship with the Quran, and her determination to practice the Quran, is instructive for us. Before her, no woman was a pioneer in practicing the Quran. Lady Zahra (a.s.) acted on every verse that was revealed to the Prophet (p.b.u.h),” she added.

“When we examine her family life, we see a certain beauty. We can learn good and beautiful lessons from Lady Zahra (a.s.), especially in today’s life which a gap has been created in the foundation of the family. The family of Lady Zahra (a.s.) is one of the most important examples for us. We should follow the example of this family,” said the head of the women’s group of Imam Hussein (a.s.) Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey, stressing the need to study the biography of Lady Zahra (a.s.).

“When Lady Zahra (a.s.) wanted to get married, she considered God’s consent to choose her husband. When she came to her husband’s house, the first thing she said to Imam Ali (a.s.) was, ‘Let us not forget being servants of God today and choose a place of our house as a mosque’. In her first act, she designated a special place of worship in her home. By studying his family lifestyle, we learn that she did not do anything to upset her husband. There was basically no mistake or unusual behavior in her life,” she added.

“Salman the Persian said that he went to the house of Lady Zahra (a.s.). ‘I saw Lady Zahra (a.s.) turning on the stove to cook food, making flour with her hands and having a child in her arms. I wanted to help Fatima. I said, ‘Either I take care of the baby and you prepare the food, or I cook, and you take care of the baby.’ Lady Zahra (a.s.) said, ‘I am the mother of my child. So, I take care of the baby and you prepare the flour. What we learn from this is that to take care of our children, we take precedence over others,” added Delbar Aksu, stating that Lady Zahra (a.s.) was very kind to her children.

“When we look at the life of Lady Zahra (a.s.), there are many lessons. We should not leave our children to other people. This is one of the most beautiful lessons we learn from Lady Zahra (a.s.),” she added.
