Sheikh Ahmad Tijan’s wife passed away/Department of Women Affairs’ condolences
The honorable wife of the revolutionary scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Tijan Silla, the late representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Sierra Leone, passed away at his funeral.
Hajieh Khadijah Silla, the faithful wife of the late scholar Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Ahmad Tijan Silla, passed away.
She passed away shortly after her husband demise, at his funeral.
It should be mentioned that Sheikh Ahmad Tijan Silla, one of the prominent Shite Ulama of Africa, and official representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021.
The deceased was one of the preachers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school, one of the great Shiites of Africa, and the Imam of the Central Mosque of Freetown, one of the largest mosques in Sierra Leone. Sheikh Ahmad Tijan Silla was a member of the Sierra Leone Muslims-Christians Interfaith Council and was a senior member of the Sierra Leone United Muslim Council.
Following this tragic incident, the Women and Children Department of the International Affairs Office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly issued a message of condolence.
The condolences message is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)
The demise of the Hajieh Khadijah Silla the faithful and honorable wife of the revolutionary scholar, Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Ahmad Tijan Silla, the late representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Sierra Leone, in his funeral, caused grief and sorrow.
Offering condolences on the occasion of this sad loss to all her relatives and acquaintances, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly asks God for enduring honor and success for them, and God’s mercy and paradise for that late lady and her honorable husband.
