Ayatollah Ramazani appreciated the organizers of the scientific conference “Umana Al-Rosol” in Najaf

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly considered the compiling and preparing of the 46-volume encyclopedia of Ayatollah Musawi Al-Khersan as one of the noble, valuable and admirable works of the conference.

World Assembly on Saturday morning, November 12, 2022, in the conference hall of the Qom Assembly.

Ayatollah Reza Ramazani in this meeting said, “Holding the Najaf section of the “1^st Conference of Umana Al-Rosol (Trustees of the Messengers); Commemorating Ayatollah Al-Khersan”, is a valuable effort and an innovative work that started from the seminary of Qom.”

Stating that the process of holding a conference to honor ulama and dignitaries should not be prolonged, he added, “Some mischievously try to create discords between Najaf and Qom. For example, they claim that Najaf seminary is religious and Qom seminary is political! While today Qom and Najaf seminaries are flag bearers of scientific, spiritual and religious movements in the world.”

Considering the compiling and preparing of the 46-volume encyclopedia of Ayatollah Musawi Al-Khersan as one of the noble, valuable and admirable works of the conference, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized on necessity of an interactive approach and cooperation between the Najaf and Qom seminaries and stated, “Consolidation of capacities is necessary in this regard, and I, for my part, appreciate the academic and executive members of the Conference of Umana Al-Rosol (Trustees of the Messengers), who did a great job with cooperation and interaction.”

“Islam is a comprehensive religion,” he added, “In introducing the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.), we cannot find better interpretations than Imam Khomeini’s (r.a.) words. He believed that Islam is a comprehensive religion and includes all the individual and social aspects of man.”

About the character of Allameh Khersan, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “During my visit to Iraq and after the Arbaeen Walk, I met Allameh Khersan in his office in Najaf. It was a good meeting, and asceticism could be seen from his words, behavior and speech. He gave me the Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya as a present. I asked him to sign it for me, but no matter how much I insisted, he refused and said, “Why should I sign the words of Imam Sajjad (a.s.)? My signature changes the status of this book.” My meeting with Allameh Khersan lasted more than half an hour, and I enjoyed his company and manner of dealing.”

Considering the commemoration of Shiite figures and nobles as a valuable work, he added, “This work should be continued by consolidating the capacity of seminaries, organizations, institutions and international bodies and it should have a strong and ratified organization.”

It is worth mentioning that during this meeting, Hojat al-Islam Reza Eskandari, Secretary of the Scientific Conference Umana Al-Rosol (a.s.), presented a report on the activities carried out in Najaf. /345/
