In a statement, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly denounced the Peshawar terrorist attack.

The statement of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)

Once again, Takfiri criminal terrorists, on behalf of the enemies of Islam and Muslims slaughtered a group of oppressed and innocent Pakistani Shiites, who were holding Friday prayers in Peshawar. The terrorist attack at the Imamia Mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan, killed more than 60 and injured about 200 Shiite worshipers.

History testifies that the Shiites, according to the orders of the pure Muhammadan Islam and the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.), have never been involved in terrorist acts.

Today, it is increasingly necessary to pay attention to the moral and intellectual dimensions of Islam and to confront the common enemies of Muslims (Zionism and global arrogance).

It is hoped that the officials and elders of Islamic Ulama of Pakistan will make great efforts to prevent such incidents and confront the perpetrators.

The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly strongly condemns this heinous terrorist crime, and while offering condolences to the honorable families of the martyrs of the friendly Muslim nation, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, it asks God Almighty for divine mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs of this tragic incident, the immediate healing of the injured, and patience and reward for their families.
