In a message, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed its condolences on the sudden demise of Haji Shahin Hasanli.

ABWA Official Website – In a message, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed its condolences on the sudden demise of Haji Shahin Hasanli.

The message is as follows:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Whoever acts righteously, [whether] male or female, should he be faithful, We shall revive him with a good life and pay them their reward by the best of what they used to do. (Holy Quran, Surah: An-Nahl, Verse: 97)

The respected Family of the late Haji Shahin Hasanli

Salam (Peace) be upon you

With great regret, we learned about the sudden demise of Haji Shahin, a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

For many years, he was engaged in publishing the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings in the “Mashhadi Dadash” mosque in Baku, where many young people were educated in this mosque. The late Haji Shahin Hasanli, as the imam of this influential mosque in Baku, was a link and a source of hope for adolescents, young people, and the general enthusiasts and followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.). As a result of his efforts, this mosque became an important social base, and after the demise of the deceased will continue its activities, and countless students of Haji Shahin will continue his luminous path.

Together with other ulama and Islamic intellectuals, the deceased cleric spent his youth in special circumstances, on the path of calling to religion and spirituality, defending the laws and teachings of pure Muhammadan Islam, and supporting the rights of Shiites.

Whether in the joys or in the mourning for the Infallible and Immaculate AhlulBayt (a.s.), he kept the flame of love for the progeny of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) burning brighter.

We offer our condolences for this sorrowful loss to the great community of religious people, ulama, intellectuals, and figures, the general lovers and followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.) in the Republic of Azerbaijan, especially his students and enthusiasts, and especially to you, the respected bereaved family of the deceased.

May his soul rest in peace, and be united with his benefactors
