On Friday evening, June 3, 2022, at the 28th memorial of the martyrs of Manzaria Mosque, referring to the anniversary of Imam Khomeini and the martyrdom of Ayatollah Ehsanbakhsh, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “The martyrs, ulama, and the Mojahedin of the scientific, provincial and military fields, are students of Imam Khomeini’s school.”
“One of the most significant features of Islam, which is often neglected, is the fighting oppression and the resistance front. In the Holy Quran, there are about 400 verses about jihad and resistance, and there is not as many Quranic verses about any other jurisprudential ruling,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“There are profound teachings in Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, Du'a Kumayl, Du'a Arafah and other supplications,” he clarified, “300 Quranic verses are about reason, thought and reflection.”
“The realization of justice in the individual and social spheres was of the great ideals and aspirations of all the divine prophets,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated.
“Today, some intellectuals, claiming to support absolute peace, seek to remove verses related to jihad and resistance. This thought is dangerous. Islam is peace seeker, provided it is based on justice,” pointed out the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
“Islam does not endorse the peace that make people to accept oppression. In the West today, a spirituality is promoted that is submissive to oppression, which is a false spirituality,” he added.
“Absolute peace means abstaining to fight even those who want to plunder and exploit you, which is not acceptable,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.
“Certainly, Islam is not war monger, and it never seeks to incite war. While it believes that there must be comprehensive preparation scientifically and militarily. Muslims must be prepared in all respects, especially militarily, so that the enemy does not even think of plundering Muslim countries,” he mentioned.
“According to the narrations, among those who ask God to return to life after death are martyrs. Realizing the greatness of their place, they ask God to bring them back to life to experience the delight of martyrdom again,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified, referring to the high and high position of the martyr before God.
Referring to jihad in the Holy Quran, the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts stated, “One of the types of jihads is the jihad of enlightenment. That is, ulama must stand up to those who raise doubts and distort religion and learn and teach Islam comprehensively.”
“To promote the knowledge of jurisprudence, the general mobilization and Hijrah (journey and migration) are required,” he emphasized, “We need ulama like Ayatollah Rudbari who created religious waves in the province.”
“Today, the Infallibles (a.s.) are neglected and they are introduced in a one-dimensional way so that people cannot accept them as comprehensive role models,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The Mojahedin must be sincere in both enlightenment and scientific jihad. We must take step in the path of God and deal only with Him.”
“The martyrs and warriors sought to fulfill their duties. The Mojahedin went to the battlefield in the way of God and were martyred, wounded, or captured by the enemy. They performed their divine duty,” he said.
“Ulama like Ayatollah Rudbari are influential for people. More than words, we must invite people to religion by our behavior,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified.
Noting that the Islamic Revolution was Imam Khomeini’s miracle, the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts said, “Today, the Islamic Revolution as a great trust is in our hands, and we must do our duty to preserve it.”
“The fact that there are some economic and livelihood problems and the lack of justice for all, as well as the existence of discrimination, is common to all. However, being unmotivated to continue the path of the Islamic Revolution is a great sin,” he stressed.
“In the event of any damage to the Islamic Revolution, it may take several hundred years for such an arena to emerge, which has provided unique opportunities,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.
Referring to the determination of the Ayatollah Raisi’s administration to solve the problems of the people, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Even on holidays, Ayatollah Raisi visits different provinces to see the problems and find their solutions.”
“Anyone who has a wise, sympathetic and realistic critique in various fields of economics, politics, culture, etc., can express it. The government, in turn, welcomes the critique,” he added.
“It is necessary to hire experts in the executive fields,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified, “In the current economic situation, the government’s economic team must prevent any pressure on the people.”
“It is very easy to be an armchair critic and talk about absolute well-being. Some make such claims but are not even able to manage their own home,” said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
Criticizing those who run for city council or parliament without having expertise in civil, cultural, and urban fields, he said, “Just those who have necessary qualifications should run for city council or parliament. Some do not even know in which commission they can play a role or be effective.”
“The world has revolted against us. The enemy has plotted for every single issue of our society. For example, it targets the hijab, and promotes liberalism and secular Islam,” Ayatollah Ramazani noted.
“The parliament must seek to pass laws that will lead to the excellence of the Islamic Revolution at the international level. Islam is a healing prescription in various fields of individual and social spheres,” emphasized Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“By providing an accurate understanding of Islam, Imam Khomeini revived us. He introduced the struggle aspect of Islam. We have seen that in every situation we neglected, we were humiliated,” he added.
“Judging people should be avoided. Because on the Day of Judgment, we will be held accountable for it. Judgments on social media only seek to mislead people, and some believe an issue without any proof,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified.
Stating that the Islamic Republic must eradicate poverty, meet the demands of society, and work for the youth, the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts added, “Religion must be fully taught to our children.”
“The claim that our youth are anti-religious and seek distance from religion is absolutely false. Because all religious teachings are in accordance with human Fitrah,” he said at the end.
