ABWA Official Website – Members of the Commemoration Headquarters of General Qassem Soleimani met Ayatollah Javadi Amoli at his home.
In this meeting, while honoring the memory of martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated, “I pray that the souls of all the martyrs, especially the pure soul of this martyr, will be united with the martyrs of Karbala, and that the country of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) will be protected from any danger until the day of his Reappearance, so that we can give it to that Imam.”
“There are some points that we all may know. But just knowing is not important. The first point is that God cannot be denied. There is no atheist who does not know God. Because God created everything with Tawhid. Therefore, God cannot be denied. Its sign is that when a person is on a ship in a stormy sea and is drowning, and has no access to anyone, his heart is towards God. It doesn’t matter whether a person accepts the principle of Tawhid or not, God cannot be denied or forgotten by anyone,” he further stated.
“The late Sheikh Kulayni narrates a hadith from Imam Sadiq, “God knows everything and there is no one who does not know God”. Therefore, every denier of God or communist knows God. But this knowledge of God is inside him, and when he is in trouble, he calls God! If a heart wants to think about God, it is not difficult for him. No! Rather, for this, he must be careful so that no dust settles on his heart, and if it settles, he must remove it quickly! Martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani preserved this nature and if there was any dust on human characteristics, he quickly removed it! Why don’t we become Qassem Soleimani?!” he added.
“About the types of worshippers, Imam Ali (a.s.) said, “There are three categories of worshipers: Some worship because of the fear of hell, some because of the desire for heaven, and some because of the love of God. I belong to the third category”. These enlightening words do not only refer to prayer and fasting, but it includes Jihad too. Some participate Jihad because it is a religious duty. They are afraid that if they do not fight, they will commit a violation of Sharia and may be punished by God. Some strive to increase their rank in heaven. But some fight only for God. Martyr Soleimani (may God have mercy on him) was from this third category. That martyr did not think of going to heaven at all (although he will definitely go to heaven). It is not appropriate that when a person goes to a giver, request for something. That noble person himself knows how to give! Martyr Soleimani understood that he should not say a word before God about what he did or did not do in the way of Him. He considered all his works as successes from God!” he said, expressing the second point.
“The third point is the luminous expression of Imam Sajjad (a.s.) and his prayer for the (Islam’s) warriors. Whoever entrusts his children to God, he is certain that God is the best protector, and he will not have any worries in this regard. Martyr Qassem Soleimani did not think about behind the frontlines. He struggled on the path of Islam, Quran, AhlulBayt (a.s.), Islamic Republic and Iran. Maybe someone wants the war to end sooner so that he can return to his city and home. While another group say, “O God, I came to protect your religion, not to return safe!” The student of such a school was Qassem Soleimani, who was thinking of preserving Islam, homeland, country, honor, and soil,” he said.
“This path is open to all of us. However, what is about the Infallible and Immaculate AhlulBayt (a.s.), it is not even understandable for us to wish to reach it. But there are cases that some dignitaries have reached these ranks. It is possible to reach these positions and there are people who have already reached them. Even now, there are some people who follow the path of martyr Soleimani. Why don’t we go this way?” he continued.
“May God grant us the opportunity to hand over this country to its original owner (Imam Mahdi). This is certain and infinite issue. We are not disappointed. However, we should wake up ourselves, not go astray and not block anyone’s way!” Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said in the end. /345/
