AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly Office in Pakistan denounces terrorist blast among Ashura mourners

In a message, Hojat al-Islam Dr. Sayed Mohammad Najafi, head of the office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Pakistan, condemned the terrorist attack in Bahawalnagar, Punjab.

In this message, he pointed to the enmity of the Wahhabi sect with Islam and the AhlulBayt (a.s.).

The message of the head of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly Office in Pakistan is as follows:

The events that took place this year in Muharram al-Haram, especially in Bahawalnagar, are very reprehensible and should be condemned.

Imam Hussein (a.s.), the grandson of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), is the founder of Sharia, and love for him is found in every nation. But unfortunately, even today, the disgusting face of Wahhabism shows its enmity towards Islam and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and perpetrates such attacks.

Shiite figures held a conference on unity among Muslims around the world, in which the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Islamabad Office, also played a special role.

We strongly condemn the incident that took place in Ashura and will never allow mourning (for Imam Hussein) to be tarnished.

In the end, for the martyrs of Bahawalnagar, we ask for the exaltation from God and patience for their family and relatives

It should be mentioned that the terrorist blast among the mourners of Ashura in the city of Bahawalnagar, in Punjab, eastern Pakistan, left 5 martyrs and at least 50 wounded.
