The book “Saqifa Session” by the late Baqir Sharif Al-Qarshi was translated into Turkish and published by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

ABWA Official Website – The book “Saqifa Session” by the late Baqir Sharif Al-Qarshi was translated into Turkish and published by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

This book is an analysis and explanation of the differences of Muslims over the succession of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) after his demise, as well as a brief overview of the events of the early history of Islam. The book begins with an overview of the general atmosphere of the emergence of Islam among the Quraysh tribe and the Hijaz region, and the introduction of the main enemies of Islam.

The position of the caliphate in Islam is the first subject that the author has discussed and has listed it as one of the essentials of Islam, which was emphasized a lot by the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h). Also, in this part, the author has examined the appointment of Imam Ali (a.s.) as his successor by the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h).

The rest of the book is dedicated to the point of view of the Quran and the Prophetic tradition about the caliphate in Islam. Among the following contents of the book is the great support of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) for the succession of Imam Ali (a.s.) in dealing with the dangers that will threaten the Islamic Ummah after him in society and mentioning the last days of the life of the Prophet (p.b.u.h).

The final part of the book is dedicated to a detailed report of the Saqifa Event and an examination of the role and performance of supporters and opponents, as well as a look at its consequences.

The book Saqifa Session by the late Baqir Sharif Al-Qarshi is translated by Sayed Sajjad Hussaini Qareh Qush and published by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly Publishing House in crown octavo size.
