Ayatollah Ramazani stressed the need for face-to-face training in education

In a meeting with Mohammad Faezi, Director General, and some of deputies of the Education Department of Gilan Province, while emphasizing the importance of forming an Education Council headed by the Governor, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “This council must always be active with a specific agenda.”

Referring to the need to define training workshops for teachers at various levels, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “These courses should be held with the presence of experts from Tehran or the province, in the field of learning content and format issues.”

“In the content section, given the cultural invasion, it is important to study what content should be presented to students’ minds. In the format section, it is important to study the literature and the mechanism by which the content should be transmitted,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified.

“It is very important to attract the student’s mind with animation on various topics. Workshops enable teachers to speak the word and understand the language of today’s students,” added the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts.

“Today we must shift to cyberspace. Cyberspace, apart from the hardware, requires software that is the content that must be conveyed to the student’s mind,” he expressed, referring to the importance of cyberspace in the current era.

Referring to the thinking that should be offered to the minds of students, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Today we have to teach religious teachings to students with special literature so that it is not rigid and clichéd.”

“In interacting with the younger generation, we need to change our literature to an influential style,” pointed out the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“In educational matters, we must introduce those who are men of their words,” he clarified, “A trainer or teacher must be a consultant, honest and compassionate and train face to face.”

“Today, it is no longer acceptable for a teacher to come and just teach and leave. Rather, the teacher should accompany the student in solving problems,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated, emphasizing on basic thinking.

“A teacher should not have a second job but should dedicate himself to education. The teacher must give the student his telephone number so that they can communicate with him,” added the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

Addressing the director general of education of Gilan, he said, “You should strengthen your team in a way that is technically, executively, educationally in accordance with the standards of the Islamic Republic and cultural province of Gilan.”

In the end, Ayatollah Ramazani expressed his hope that with the new management, we will see structural changes in education in Gilan province.
