Criticizing the greed of the rulers of some Arab countries, Temel Karamollaoğlu said, “The most important issue is the unity of Islamic countries and the end of the conflict in the region. The silent countries must enter the issue of Yemen with zeal.”
Coinciding with the intensification of the aggression of the Arab-Western-Hebrew coalition in attacking the oppressed people of Yemen, the International Conference “Investigating the Dimensions of the Aggression against Yemen” was held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, by the Arbaeen International Foundation in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and coordinated institutions.
Speaking at the conference, referring to the unfavorable relations between Islamic countries in recent years, Temel Karamollaoğlu, Secretary-General of the Turkish Prosperity Party, said, “Especially in the case of Yemen, one cannot analyze the unfavorable relations between Islamic countries.”
“The Yemeni people are currently in distress and hunger, and the situation in Yemen is so bad that they cannot even heal their wounded. All these catastrophes are carried out under a coalition with the help of several Islamic countries as well as an important Islamic country,” said the Secretary-General of the Turkish Prosperity Party, referring to the killing of thousands of Yemenis in recent years.
“These conflicts cause millions of people to suffer and not have a good life. Regardless of all these issues, the result of the conflict will be the loss of millions of dollars from the reserves of Islamic countries. In order to end these conflicts, the elders of these countries must decide with common sense and not with their own interests,” he added, describing the crisis in Yemen as thought-provoking.
“The most important goal of unity among Islamic countries is to eliminate these conflicts and actions,” Temel Karamollaoğlu said, while expressing regret, “We see no Islamic unity, and each country seeks its own interests.”
“If there is no unity, Islamic countries will suffer, and lack of unity hinders them to progress. Disagreement, and lack of unity can destroy the infrastructure of Islamic countries, and it causes the backwardness of Islamic countries, not progress and growth,” concluded the Secretary-General of the Turkish Prosperity Party.
“These wars hold countries back and deprive people of a decent life,” he said, regretting that billions of dollars which should be spent on building Islamic countries are being spent on conflicts in the region.
“It is necessary for the Islamic countries to unite as soon as possible and put an end to these conflicts. Other countries must also work assiduously to end these conflicts. The most important issue is the unification of Islamic countries and the end of the conflicts in the region,” Temel Karamollaoğlu said, expressing his hope to see the end of the conflicts in the region.
“Other Islamic countries must also do their duties. In particular, they must end the conflict by intervening in the issue of Yemen,” recommended the Secretary-General of the Turkish Prosperity Party.
