Wednesday, 15 December 2021

A one-day meeting entitled “A Study of the Anti-Arrogance Positions of the Clergy and the Islamic Resistance in the Movement of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali” will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, 08:00 a.m. in the hall of the Dar al-Walaya Complex in Qom.

International Conference “A Study of the Anti-Arrogance Positions of the Clergy and the Islamic Resistance in the Movement of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali” will be held next year. A one-day pre-conference entitled “A Study of the Anti-Arrogance Positions of the Clergy and the Islamic Resistance in the Movement of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali” will also be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, 08:00 a.m. in the hall of the Dar al-Walaya Complex in Qom.

In this meeting, the message of Ayatollah Noori Hamedani will be read, and, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, deputy chairman of the Islamic Development Organization, and some representatives of Resistance movements from Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, and et. will delivered their speeches.

Announcing this news, the director general of Gilan province Islamic Development Organization said, “One of the most important things to tribute the divine rites is to commemorate figures who tried to adapt their lives according to religious and divine teachings.”

“One of the figures who tried to spend his life in the path of divine pleasure and honor of the believers with religious concern and following the example of the life of a perfect human being, namely the AhlulBayt (a.s.), is the great Mirza of Iran, Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali,” added Hojat al-Islam Saeed Mahdavi.

“Hojat al-Islam Younes Ustadsarai - who was known as “Sardar Jangal” (commander of jungle) due to his avoidance from welfare, and his historical struggle in the forests of Gilan - is one of the examples of Iranian-Islamic personalities who can be proud of him according to his conduct and life. He has been one of the examples of freedom, liberty, dignity and self-sacrifice for his fellow human beings,” he said, referring to the characteristics of Mirza Kuchak Jangali.

“Although this religious scholar was not very old and did not have famous scientific credentials, he beautifully learned the lessons of freedom, liberty and the fight against oppression, corruption and discrimination from Imam Hussain (a.s.). “In this movement, we followed the Lord of the Martyrs, namely Imam Hussain (a.s.),” Mirza himself said in this regard,” Mahdavi stated.

“Accordingly, Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali, like Imam Hussain (a.s.), was beheaded and martyred. If the seminary and the clergy want to preserve the independence, dignity and freedom of the new and future generations of Iran, must promote the political, social and religious identity of the youth by commemorating such personalities,” stated the secretary of the conference “A Study of the Anti-Arrogance Positions of the Clergy and the Islamic Resistance in the Movement of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali”.

“One of the approaches to define identity for our new and future generation is to celebrate and commemorate up-to-date and accessible role models such as the martyrs, including the martyrs of the clergy. An example of these clergy martyrs is the Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali,” said the head of the Gilan Province Islamic Development Organization.

“This year, which is the 100th anniversary of the martyrdom of this Mojahed cleric, the Gilan Province Islamic Development Organization is holding three main programs to the best of its capacity. Also, in order to highlight the clergy aspect of Mirza Kuchak Khan, and to introduce the Islamic nature of the Jungle Movement, the organization held a comprehensive competition on the Gilan provincial TV, which was well received by the public,” Mahdavi stated, referring to the need to promote the uprising of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali.

Also, a meeting was held in the presence of clerics, prayer imams and preachers of Gilan province was held in house of Mirza Kuchak Khan’s father in Ustadsara neighborhood of Rasht, with the aim of introducing the Jungle Movement as a religious movement,” he said.

“One of the programs of imperialism is to distort the religious and divine movements. In the infamous Pahlavi era, with the aim of implicitly distorting the Jungle movement, some writers created written works about the Jungle Movement. These books are printed and sold in bookstores. This is a great injustice to the popular and religious movement of Mirza Kuchak Khan,” said the secretary of the conference “A Study of the Anti-Arrogance Positions of the Clergy and the Islamic Resistance in the Movement of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali”.

“Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali had a religious concern and the purpose of holding the conference “A Study of the Anti-Arrogance Positions of the Clergy and the Islamic Resistance in the Movement of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali” is to express this issue,” Mahdavi said, “As a third activity, the Gilan Province Islamic Development Organization will hold a large conference next year with the help of Gilan officials and people. The introduction of that conference is a meeting that will be held tomorrow in the city of uprising, jihad, science, and ijtihad, that is, Qom.”

“The ceremony will be held tomorrow in Dar al-Velaya Complex in the presence of clerics and scholars of the seminary and representatives of Islamic Resistance movements – including Lebanese Hezbollah, Iraqi Hezbollah, Al-Aml al-Islami of Bahrain, and Ansarullah of Yemen – in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly,” he continued.

“The meeting “A Study of the Anti-Arrogance Positions of the Clergy and the Islamic Resistance in the Movement of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali” will be held at 8:00 a.m. in the presence of Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Assadollah Abbasi, Governor of Gilan, Hojat al-Islam Rasool Falahati, Representative of the Supreme Leader in Gilan Province. In this ceremony, also the message of Ayatollah Noori Hamedani, the Shiite Marja, will be read,” added the head of Gilan Province Islamic Development Organization.

“The Islamic Ummah and the oppressed of the world should get acquainted with the anti-colonial and anti-arrogant face of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali. The issue that is important for the organizers of the conference is the media reflection of the conference, through which the youth and teenagers - who are bombarded with media and cultural aggression - know what divine people this land has. Nowadays, this issue is necessary especially for our youth,” Mahdavi said, emphasizing that Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali was a freedom-seeker and humanitarian figure who should be introduced to the world.

“The commemoration of a person like Mirza Kuchak Khan is a commemoration of Iran and a religion that nurtures people who have given up selfishness and amassing wealth, and endured hardships and slanders for the comfort of the nation. Mirza Kuchak Khan rose up to reform and help the people of his time,” said the secretary of the pre-conference “A Study of the Anti-Arrogance Positions of the Clergy and the Islamic Resistance in the Movement of Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali”.

It should be mentioned that the Thursday, December 2, 2021, coincided with the 100th anniversary of the martyrdom of Hojat al-Islam Mirza Younes Ostadsarai, known as Mirza Kuchak Khan Jangali. On this occasion, various conferences and ceremonies have been held in Gilan province and other provinces of Iran.
