We must introduce God’s religion properly: Ayatollah Ramazani

The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Missionaries should defend the national identity of their country, but they should not promote ethnicism. Rather, they should propagate the culture of AhlulBayt (a.s.).”

At least 30 missionaries and clerics of Gardabani were present in this meeting, where some activities of Al-Hakim Institute were explained.

In this meeting, Ayatollah Ramazani expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the efforts and actions of Al-Hakim Institute and emphasized the importance of three basic principles of Islam, namely “belief in the unseen”, “ethics, education and mental refinement” and Ahkam (Islamic rules), educate mankind forever. He also underlined the importance of the mission of the preachers.

“The preacher must take care of his tongue, eyes, hands, ears, stomach and sensual desires,” he added, “You must not walk arrogantly among people; you must be humble, watch your eyes before people, watch your ears, and avoid listening to every word that you hear.”

“Islam believes in 5 relationships: 1. Relationship with God. Prayer establishes a relationship with God. 2. relationship with self. Fasting secures the relationship with oneself and provides the health of soul and body. 3. Relationship with others. Zakat provides the spirit of giving and helping others. 4. International relationship. The biggest cultural interactions happen in Hajj. 5. Wilayat relationship. The relationship with AhlulBayt (a.s.) provides such relationship. Wilayat is the key to all these relationships. That is, if you want to communicate with God, it is possible through Wilayat,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Preaching has been one of the duties of the prophets. From the Quranic point of view, a missionary means someone who works along with the work of the Prophet. In the Quran, 6 verses mention the duties of the prophets, and in 4 of them, preaching precedes self-cultivation. Because self-cultivation needs teaching to be realized. In fact, teaching is a Quranic attribute. Being a teacher is so important that even God calls Himself a teacher! Therefore, this job should be respected. The holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) expected us followers and missionaries of Islam to be teachers,” he said.

“Our mission is to introduce God’s religion correctly, which requires that we first deeply research about religion and divine teachings, and then teach based on that. In other words, we should introduce Islam comprehensively, accurately, and deeply. Muslim society should not be superficial. The preacher must have scientific and spiritual prestige. Every missionary is obliged to improve himself practically. We must learn the alphabet of religion meticulously and teach it meticulously, and in this way, we must also transmit spirituality to the society. So that when someone comes to our gathering, he will be more in touch with spirituality rather than material issues. If the missionary himself is not spiritual, how can he transmit spirituality to others?” Ayatollah Ramazani added.

“Missionaries should defend the national identity of their country, but they should not promote ethnicism. Rather, they should propagate the culture of AhlulBayt (a.s.). Brotherhood and unity are a Quranic culture, and we all have a duty to respect and defend it. The unity of Shia and Sunni, and the unity of ethnic groups is one of the Islamic teachings,” he emphasized.

“Missionaries should be trustees of the people. This issue is very important and has been entrusted to us as a legacy and trust, and we must hand it over to its future owners in a correct manner. This requires us to be the trustees of the people so that they trust us and follow us as role models. The preaching ceremonies of clerics should be a class for life and trustworthiness lessons. Islamic concepts should be taught gradually. You must revive the God in people’s hearts. Some with liberal thought want to remove God from society. Therefore, the missionaries of every community should be aware of this issue and preserve God alive in the community and in the hearts of the people. If the name of God disappears in the society and in the hearts of people, there will not be anything from trustworthiness, kindness, honesty, love and friendship. There is no better trust than the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school and we as trustees must take care of it. According to Martyr Motahari, Imam Khomeini (r.a.) believed in four principles: Belief in God, belief in the goal, belief in the path, belief in the Ummah and people. The Imam breathed on us with his messianic breath and revived us, and his chosen and worthy student, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, follows the same path,” added the professor of higher levels of the seminary.

“For development and progress, the main condition is to maintain unity. We must not allow the enemies to destroy our unity and cohesion,” said the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the end. /345/
