Sheikh Zakzaky's daughter: World remained silent in face of Zaria massacre

The fifth anniversary of the oppressed martyrs of Zaria was held on Saturday, December 12, 2020, in the presence of the family of Sheikh "Ibrahim Zakzaky", the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, and in the presence of a group of thinkers from the Islamic world.

The daughter of Sheikh zakzaky delivered a speech on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the fifth anniversary of the oppressed martyrs of Zaria, in Qom.

Referring to the Zaria massacre, "Soheila Zakzaky" said that Zaria incident happened five years ago and an incident like the Zaria incident had not happened before and we did not anticipate this incident."

"The Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) had not been done anything wrong, and its supporters were suddenly attacked without regard to law, and Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife were arrested," she added.

Contrary to the intent of the perpetrators of Zaria's massacre, the Islamic Movement of Nigeria received more attention after the massacre, and the Nigerian authorities did not realize what they were doing with the assassination. We will continue to move forward with confidence. We are proud of our martyrs," she said.

Referring to the non-reflection of Zaria's massacre in the world, she said that Zaria's martyrs and the damage done to the Islamic Movement of Nigeria in the Zaria incident, it was not so discussed in the world.

It is worth mentioning that on December 13, 2015 when Shiites were mourning Imam Hussain (a.s.) in a Husseiniyah in the city of Zaria in Nigeria, the country's military forces with a previous plan to destroy Shiite Islam in Nigeria raided to the Husseiniyah of Zaria and home of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria and killed more than a thousand Shiites and a number of members of the family of Sheikh Zakzaky and severely injured the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria and his wife and they were taken to prison.
