Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Muhammad Hakim Samadi, one of the great Shiite scholars living in Europe, passed away.


Ayatollah Hakim Samadi was one of the Afghan scholars who settled in Norway in recent years and promoted the teachings of Islam and the guidance of the people.


As a non-Iranian member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, he also played a role in establishing and developing the religious and social achievements of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the 1970s and from the beginning of the establishment of the Assembly.


The late Ayatollah Hakim Samadi, in addition to religious and propaganda activities, also trained many students.


Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Hakim Samadi, one of the senior scientific, cultural and political figures of the Afghan society, was born in the city of Jaghori, one of the famous Shiite areas of the country.


Ayatollah Hakim Samadi studied, researched, propagated and wrote in the seminary of Qom and was considered as a researcher, writer and historian in this seminary.


He was active in the seminary of Qom in the field of Islamic interpretation and knowledge and history of Afghanistan.


Ayatollah Muhammad Hakim Samadi, who loved reading since he was a child, bibliographed 9,000 books at the "Dar Rahe Hagh" institute.


One of the most important actions of Ayatollah Hakim Samadi in Norway was the compilation of a calendar related to religious times in the capital city of Oslo, which took four years to compile.


Ayatollah Muhammad Hakim Samadi passed away in Norway on Thursday, November 19, 2020, after years of promoting the teachings of the AhluBayt (a.s.) in various countries of the world.


His body was buried in Norway on Friday, November 20, 2020.
