Stating that the source of Gaza’s history-making epic in resistance and sacrifice was Lady Zahra (a.s.), the member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized, “There is no doubt that the resistance of the Palestinian people is a branch of the resistance of the Iranian people.”
ABWA Official Website – During the funeral procession of anonymous martyrs in Dastjan village, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Reviving the memory and name of the martyrs is reviving the memory and name of the Holy Prophet (a.s.) and his Progeny (a.s.).”
“The name and memory of anonymous martyrs is alive and reviving. The magnificent funeral procession of these martyrs on the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatimah (a.s.) is a great and wise initiative that deserves praise and thanks,” he said.
A member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly noted, “It is the presence of martyrs that has kept our society alive. The sign of the presence of martyrs in society is these funeral ceremonies.”
Further in his speech, referring to the resistance of the people of Gaza, Ayatollah Araki pointed out, “What is happening today in Gaza is a historic and great incident, the source of which should be sought in the house of Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) and her sacrifices.”
“The epic of Lady Zahra (a.s.) was started behind the door of her house to be a fire to eradicate the arrogant. In other words, Lady Fatimah (a.s.) was burned, but by her defense of Velayat, she destroyed the foundation of arrogance,” he added.
“There is no doubt that the resistance of the Palestinian people is a branch of the resistance of the Iranian people,” added the member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Our zealous youth and martyrs are graduates from Hussainiyahs,” he said, “Our children are the children of Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.), and this is not an exaggeration. Because Imam Sadiq (a.s.) said to some of his sincere and close Shiites, “You are from the family of Muhammad (p.b.u.h)”.”
At the end of his speech, Ayatollah Araki expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the funeral ceremony of the anonymous martyrs, and said, “One of the biggest cultural jihads in today’s world is following up on the search for the remains of the martyrs, taking care of their families, and holding funeral ceremonies for them and those who make sacrifice.”
