In the headquarter of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the accompanying delegation, met Hojat al-Islam Sayed Abdolfattah Nawab, representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, and the head of the Iranian pilgrims.

Congratulating the Hajj Week and Dahe-e Keramat (ten days of dignity), and expressing satisfaction with the presence in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Given Mr. Nawab’s geographical and political awareness over Mecca and Saudi Arabia, he is the best choice for Supreme Leader’s representation.”

Commemorating the memory of Hojat al-Islam Dr. Mazloumi and Hojat al-Islam Dr. Najafi, the former managers of the Beseh-Rahbari, as well as Ayatollah Takhiri, Ayatollah Ramazani appreciated the services and activities of these unique characters.

Referring to a hadith from Imam Baqer (a.s.) saying that ‘Islam is based on five things: prayer, zakat, Hajj, fasting, and Velayat’, Ayatollah Ramezani added, “Hajj can create a golden opportunity in international interactions. Islam has always emphasized the development of communication, which requires a comprehensive international understanding of nations.”

“Given the ethnic and national characteristics of Muslim countries, the Beseh-Rahbari (Supreme Leader’s Representation Office) can create a comprehensive, accurate, and in-depth dialogue between nations,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“The social, political, cultural, and even economic dimensions of Hajj have provided a good and unique opportunity for the Beseh-Rahbari (Supreme Leader’s Representation Office). From this point of view, many actions can be taken in the international arena,” said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

“Correct introduction of the school of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and Infallibles (a.s.) is one of the important tasks of the Assembly. The scientific and spiritual authority of the Infallibles (a.s.) must be properly introduced in Islamic and human societies,” he said, referring to the activities and duties of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“All over the world, many people are fascinated by the supplications of Imam Sajjad (a.s.), and when Christians become acquainted with these supplications, they recite them many times,” added Ayatollah Ramazani.

“These two organizations must develop their international vision in order to achieve the reformist atmosphere objective of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, describing the mission of the Beseh-Rahbari (Supreme Leader’s Representation Office) and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly as universal.

“The Beseh-Rahbari and the Assembly must reach understanding, interaction, and synergy in the various hardware and software sectors,” he continued, referring to the memorandum of understanding between the Beseh-Rahbari (Supreme Leader’s Representation Office) and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

At the beginning of the meeting, congratulating the Hajj Week and Dahe-e Keramat (ten days of dignity), Hojat al-Islam Nawab appreciated the presence of Ayatollah Ramazani and the directors of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the Beseh-Rahbari (Supreme Leader’s Representation Office).

“The relationship between the Beseh-Rahbari and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has existed in the past and close cooperation has taken place,” he continued.

Considering the Beseh-Rahbari and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly to have international capacities, the Head of the Iranian Pilgrims added, “Coordination and cooperation between these two institutions can double these capacities.”

Referring to the memorandum of understanding between the Beseh-Rahbari and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, he stated that the purpose of signing this memorandum is cooperation between the two sides in various fields of culture, education, research, propagation, and executive, taking into account expert facilities within the framework of laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the policies and programs of the parties.

At the end of the ceremony, Ayatollah Ramazani and Hojjat al-Islam Nawab signed the memorandum of understanding between the Beseh-Rahbari (Supreme Leader’s Representation Office in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs) and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
