But with the resistance of the clergy, the regime gave up,” said the Head of the Department of Communications and International Affairs of the Office of the Supreme Leader on the abandonment of the Quran in the Pahlavi era.
“The Pahlavi regime wanted the Quran to remain abandoned. While the Islamic Republic of Iran was formed based on Quranic values. The officials of the Islamic Republic, the laws, as well as the structures are all based on Quranic values. The Islamic Republic of Iran makes every effort to implement the Quran in the field of knowledge and behavior of individuals and society. Introducing the Quran and deepening the Quranic knowledge through educational and artistic programs of the media and magazines, as well as the transmission of Quranic knowledge and getting acquaintance with this divine book is on the agenda of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he added.

There are Quranic teachers and glorious books about the teachings of the Quran. Also, Quranic dissertations and researches in our seminaries and universities are very honorable,” Dr. Mostafavi emphasized.
“In the Second Phase of the Revolution, our task is to globalize the teachings and values of the Quran, and it requires that all the capacities of the country be mixed with the Quranic teachings,” he said, referring to the mission of the Shiites in the Second Phase of the Revolution.

Therefore, the officials must be familiar with and believe in the Quranic teachings and values, and the laws must be based on the teachings of this divine book.”
“Our effort will be to incorporate the values of the Quran in all the pillars of the system,” he continued.
“One of the blessed actions of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution was to formulate Quranic activities in the form of a comprehensive law and to form specialized commissions in various fields. This structure was formed to introduce the Quran to the audience and to strengthen the faith and belief of the people in the values of the Quran,” said Mostafavi on the efforts of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution about Quranic activities.
“I would like to thank the officials of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly for praising the Quranic efforts of Ayatollah Taskhiri and Ayatollah No’mani at the closing ceremony of the first “World Prize 114”. The late Ayatollah Takhiri was one of the prominent figures who introduced the Quran in international conferences and his principles were based on the Quranic principles. He was also the pride of the Islamic world and the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he stated.
