ABWA Official Website – Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly issued a message on the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
The message of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani is as follows:
بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابرِینَ الَّذینَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِیبَهٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَ إِنَّا إِلَیْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
“those who, when an affliction visits them, say, ‘Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return’.” (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Baqarah, Verse: 156)
I would like to offer my condolences to the friendly and brotherly governments and nations, Turkey, and Syria on the recent heartbreaking earthquake, which led to the death of many Muslim brothers and sisters and saddened me, the members of the Supreme Council and the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, as well as all the enthusiasts of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).
The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the popular and international network of members and those who are affiliated with the Assembly consider this tragedy as their loss, and to the extent of their ability and capacity, and in line with their divine and human duty, they will not hesitate to provide any material and spiritual help. May this sympathy and assistance be a salve for the pains of the surviving and injured brothers and sisters in both countries, God willing.
While re-expressing the deep sympathy of the people of Iran and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) supporters all over the world, I hope that the process of debris removal and relief will continue until normal conditions are reestablished as soon as possible. Also, I ask God for universal security for all humanity, mercy and forgiveness for the dead, speedy healing of the injured, and reward and patience for the survivors.
Peace be upon you and may God have mercy on you
Reza Ramazani
