In a message, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly condoled the demise of Hojat al-Islam Muhammad Abbas Ansari, a Kashmiri member of the General Assembly.
The message is as follows:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
عن رسول اللّه (صلى الله عليه وآله): مَوتُ العالِمِ ثُلمَةٌ في الإسلامِ لا تُسَدُّ ما اختَلَفَ اللَّيلُ والنَّهارُ.
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h): The demise of an Alem (Islamic Scholar) brings a breach to Islam that the passage of time will not compensate it.
The demise of the great mojahed alem, and role model of Islamic unity, Hojat al-Islam Molana Muhammad Abbas Ansari, one of the influential Shiite figures of Kashmir and a member of the General Assembly of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) World Assembly caused grief and regret.
During his precious life, he made sincere efforts for the Muslims, especially the Shiites of Kashmir, to preserve their Islamic identity and values. Therefore, he had a special status among the Muslims of the region.
The effective efforts and successes of the deceased in pursuing the lofty idea of Islamic unity are a luminous beacon for the path that should not be forgotten, and it is necessary foe his enthusiasts to continue it.
The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly offers its condolences to his son, Hojat al-Islam Masroor Abbas Ansari, his family and friends, as well as all the Muslims of that region, and prays for the mercy, forgiveness and the elevation of spiritual ranks for deceased.
“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)
