The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The mosques must be joyful and welcome many young people. For a mosque to be successful, it must have daily programs for children, adolescents, and young people.”
ABWA Official Website – On Friday evening, December 15, 2023, in a mourning ceremony on the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatimah (a.s.) at the Sahib Az-Zaman (a.s.) Grand Mosque of Shir Kooh, Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Today, managing mosques is different from the past, and the board of trustees of mosques should consider the demands of youth and adolescents.”
Pointing out that the Imams of mosques should be the managers, a representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts stated, “For a mosque to be successful, it must have daily programs for children, adolescents, and young people. The mosques must be joyful and welcome many young people.”
Noting that the personality of Lady Zahra (a.s.) should be studied, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “We must model this lady. She is our role model in our relationship with others.”
Also saying that the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) was a follower of Imam Ali (a.s.), he said, “We need to increase our knowledge and understanding of AhlulBayt (a.s.).”
“One of the most important lessons that Lady Zahra (a.s.) taught us is undertaking responsibilities. Lady Zahra (a.s.) undertook several types of responsibilities, including knowledge and understanding of God, responsibility for raising children, responsibility of being a wife, responsibility for neighbors, and responsibility of society,” stated the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Today some are damaging to the relationship between man and God,” he added, “In the West today, people suffer from the lack of identity.”
“Islam educates man in a way that he feels peace in life,” Ayatollah Ramazani noted.
On the importance of communicating with the Quran, he added, “In her sermon, Lady Zahra (a.s.) emphasized the need for communication with the Quran.”
“Lady Fatimah (a.s.) had an outstanding relationship with her Imam, Imam Ali (a.s.), so that she did not leave him for a moment. Marefah, love, and obedience are our most important duties toward the infallible Imam,” stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts.
“The school of Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) introduces the truth of life and freedom to us,” he said at the end of his speech.
The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
