7th conference of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of India/Ayatollah Ramazani: Islamic teachings based on rationality, justice, logic

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The presence of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers in all world countries is the fruit of the logic which is based on thought, rationality, security and justice, which is acceptable to mankind.”

ABWA Official Website – In his speech at the general assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Council of India, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings are based on rationality, justice, and logic.”

Speaking at the 7th general assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Council of India, at Iran Culture House in New Delhi, he added, “The presence of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers in all world countries is the fruit of the logic which is based on thought, rationality, security and justice, which is acceptable to mankind.”

“We believe that the Immaculate AhlulBayt (a.s.) are not only the Imams of Shia and Sunni, but also they are the Imams of humanity,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly continued, “As Imam Ali (a.s.) in Nahj al-Balagha addressed his son Imam Hassan (a.s.), “What you like for yourself, like for others, and what you consider as unpleasant for yourself, consider it as unpleasant for others”.”

Referring to the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly serves worldwide in publishing the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings. In this regard, the Assembly is ready for any kind of cooperation (with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Council of India).”

Further in the conference, Hojat al-Islam Mahdi Mahdavipour, the representative of Supreme Leader of the Revolution in India, citing a hadith of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) in expressing the importance of leading and guiding human societies stated, “The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said to Imam Ali (a.s.), “O Ali! If only one person is guided by you, it is worth more than anything the sun shines on.”

Then, Molana Sayed Shamim Al-Hassan, the principal of the seminary “Javadiyah Society of Varanasi”, said, “It is our duty to oppose anything that is clearly against religion.”

Molana Sayed Hamid Al Hasan, the director of the seminary Nazemiya Society of Lucknow, as another speaker of the conference stated, “Understanding the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school depends on understanding Ashura and the personality of Imam Hussain (a.s.). Therefore, the teaching of Karbala should be a source of leading and guidance.”

Molana Sayed Safi Haider, the director of the seminaries of India also emphasized, “Being patient in the face of hardships and not being afraid of problems in the way of propagating religion is the key to success.”

Molana Ahmed Ali Abedi, director of Amirul Momineen (a.s.) seminary (Najafi House) in Mumbai expressed, “The main cause of progress of every people and nation is education. Therefore, it is necessary that we take the progress in the field of knowledge and science as our objective.”

Molana Mohsen Naqvi, the imam of Delhi’s Shiite Mosque, in his speech at this conference emphasized the historical relations between Iran and India and praised the services of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Council of India.

“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) Council of India conducts its religious and cultural activities under the management of an elected committee,” he said.

It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of this conference, which was attended by ulama and thinkers from more than 15 states of India, Molana Mohammad Reza Gharavi, the head of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Council of India, while welcoming the visiting ulama and intellectuals, presented a report on the three-year performance of his respective council.

Then, more than 45 book, which were published in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, were unveiled.

The conference started with the Quran reciting by Molana Ali Kawthar Kayfi, and the host was Molana Jenan Asghar Molai. Dr. Elahi, Iran’s ambassador to India, and Dr. Ali Rabbani, Iran’s cultural advisor in the country, along with a large number of ulama were the guests of the conference.

At the end of the conference, Molana Jalal Haider Naqvi, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Council of India, considered the presence of more than 250 ulama and clerics in the 7th general assembly as a sign of the success of the council. Naqvi also expressed thanks and appreciation to the guests of the meeting and ulama who came from far cities.

The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly  is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
