World Assembly, who traveled to Iraq with a delegation of officials and directors of the Assembly, visited the tomb of Martyr Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Baqir Hakim and the late Hojat al-Islam Sayed Abdul Aziz Hakim in the Martyrs Institution of Najaf and recited Surah al-Fatiha for them and all the martyrs and ulama. During this visit, Ayatollah Ramazani honored and appreciated the role of Martyr Hakim in the establishment, formation, and strengthening of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. /345/

ABWA Official Website – On March 17, 2023, while attending Wadi al-Saalam cemetery, Najaf, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, visited the graves of a group of ulama and martyrs buried in the cemetery, including Martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and he recited Surah Al-Fatiha for them and all the martyrs of Islam. During this visit, Ayatollah Ramazani paid tribute to all the martyrs, especially the martyrs of the Resistance and Hashd al-Sha’bi (popular mobilization) of Iraq. /345/

ABWA Official Website – The farewell and introduction ceremony of the former and new directors of the Representative Office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iraq was held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in the building of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution in Najaf, with the presence of representatives of the offices of Marjas (sources of emulation), Secretary General and some of the members of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, ulama and professors of Najaf seminary, and religious and cultural figures of Iraq. In this ceremony, Ayatollah Sayed Mojtaba Hosseini was introduced as the representative of the Assembly in Iraq, and Hojat al-Islam Sayed Mohammad Reza Al-e Ayyub was introduced as the new director of this office. Also, Hojat al-Islam Jabbar Behbahani was appreciated for his efforts as the former director of the Representative Office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iraq /345/

Ayatollah Sayed Mojtaba Hosseini was introduced as the representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly of in Iraq, and Hojat al-Islam Sayed Mohammad Reza Al-e Ayyub was introduced as the new director of this office.

The former Director General of Cultural Services and Publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Ayatollah Ramazani’s view in the Assembly is transformational and futuristic. General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has 640 members. The 7^th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was held in Tehran last September with the presence of 400 members from 124 countries.”

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Today, Islam has reached everywhere and has become a power. There used to be East and West Blocs, but today there are two fronts of Islam and global arrogance. Islam should be propagated comprehensively, without distortion.”
