Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “If all the wealth of Muslims is at the service of Muslims themselves, and Islamic governments use it, the Islamic world will gain economic power. Economic power, in turn, will lead to political power. In this case, no one will dare to desecrate the Quran and the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h).”
ABWA Official Website – Ayatollah Ramezani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly participated in the conference of “Unity” at the representative office of Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University in Malawi.
The conference was held with the participation of Hossein Alvandi, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Malawi, Hojat al-Islam Taqavi, the representative of Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University, Shiite and Sunni ulama, a group of Christians, different strata of Malawian Shiites, and the clergy of Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University in the country.
In this conference, while emphasizing that all Muslims should choose the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) as their role model, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “In a hadith from the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) it is narrated that Muslims are religious brothers of each other, and in this regard, they should fulfill their brotherhood duties. Today, Muslim brothers have heavier duties towards each other. In another hadith, the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, “Muslims are like one body, in which if one part hurts, the other parts will feel the pain, and will help to reduce and heal it”.”
“Today, the enemies of Islam are trying to create discord among Muslims,” he added, “All of us must be mobilized to confront the discords and achieve political and cultural power and authority with unity and cohesion, and everything that makes Muslims proud in the world.”
“If all the wealth of Muslims is at the service of Muslims themselves, and Islamic governments use it, the Islamic world will gain economic power. Economic power, in turn, will lead to political power. In this case, no one will dare to desecrate the Quran and the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h).” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Due to discords and conspiracies of Global Arrogance, the most victims have been Muslims in the last three to four decades,” he said about the harm of discord in the Islamic world.
Further, about the objectives and philosophy of the Prophet’s mission, the professor of higher levels of Qom seminary stated, “The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) was sent by God to create reconciliation and make peace among all mankind. Therefore, no one is allowed to create differences between Muslims in the name of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h). Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was a prophet in Mecca for 13 years. During this period, even though the Muslims were being tortured by the infidels, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) did not allow war. The polytheists decided to kill the Prophet (p.b.u.h). Therefore, he was commissioned by God to migrate and went to Madinah. The wicked and obstinate polytheists came from Mecca to Medina to fight the Muslims, and the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) defended himself.”
“The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) was commissioned by God to make a just peace so that mercy would spread among mankind. Therefore, he fought against the oppressors, the arrogant, and the tyrants. Basically, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) was sent by God to spread mercy to all mankind and said, “I was sent (by God) to spread mercy”. There is a fascinating saying of Imam Ali (a.s.) in Nahj al-Balagha, that reads, “People are of two types: either they are your religious brothers, or they are your kind and human.” Therefore, human respect must be maintained. From the beginning of his prophethood, in quarrels and disputes, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) tried to reconcile between the two sides. At that time, there were about 120 years of war between the two tribes of Banu Aws and Khazraj. They killed each other for nothing. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) created brotherhood between these two tribes and between the Muhajirin and the Ansar,” he added.
“Discords weaken Muslims,” he added, “Weakness is the cause of defeat in battles. About one of the reasons for failure, Imam Ali (a.s.) says, “Enemies are united in their falsehood, while you are divided in the truth, and this division and separation of yours caused our defeat”.”
In another part of his speech, about the necessity of introducing the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) to the world people, he stated, “If the Prophet (p.b.u.h) is known and introduced in the world, everyone will follow him. But unfortunately, the enemies insult him.”
“The Prophet (p.b.u.h) strongly opposed racism. In the Jahiliyyah (the age of ignorance in the Arabian Peninsula), black people had no position. But the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) brought those who were black-faced close to him so that they were in the first circle of Companions. Bilal the Abyssinian never asked the Prophet (p.b.u.h) for a miracle. Because the Prophet’s words were a miracle for him. In Islam, there is no difference between Arab and non-Arab, black and white, except in human and divine values. Therefore, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) gave everyone self-confidence,” he added.
Stating that the African continent has a lot of potential and wealth, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “By plundering the wealth of Africa, the colonialists did not allow it to benefit the African nations. They prevented African nations from believing in themselves. If the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) was alive today, he would have given this message to all the people of Africa: “Believe in yourself, have self-confidence, and tell yourself that “we can.” Don’t let others decide for you, decide for yourself to get your rights”.”
Referring to the impermanency of oppression, he stated, “Oppression will never be permanent. Every oppression must be confronted. The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) did not tolerate the oppression against humanity. The Zionists occupied the land of Palestine and displaced its people. But this oppression will not be permanent, and the cry of the oppressed will have consequences for the oppressors.”
About the ways to achieve economic and political independence, Ayatollah Ramezani said, “The youth should study with self-confidence to become scientists. Because countries grow and develop through science and knowledge. Science brings power.”
“Science should be accompanied by spirituality and ethics. Today’s cruelty in human society is caused by the lack of ethics and spirituality. Science, ethics, spirituality, and culture make a country progress,” he continued.
“The greater the ignorance in a society, the greater the slippage and misguidance in that society. Imam Hussain (a.s.) was sacrificed so that people would not go astray and bewildered, and would know the path and destination of felicity,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
About the steps to reach felicity, he said, “First, we must reach the monotheistic and divine system. Second, justice must be implemented in society. The implementation of justice in society has been the wish and hope of all divine prophets. God says in the Quran: “قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَعِظُكُمْ بِوَاحِدَةٍ ۖ أَنْ تَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ مَثْنَىٰ وَفُرَادَىٰ” (Say, ‘I give you just a single advice: that you rise up for Allah’s sake, in pairs or singly) (Holy Quran, Surah: Saba, Verse: 46). Human will reach salvation by following this verse. In another verse, God says: “يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ” (O you who have faith! Answer Allah and the Apostle when he summons you to that which will give you life.) (Holy Quran, Surah: Anfal, Verse: 24). According to this verse, all believers must answer the call of God and the call of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) in order to reach the true (felicitous) life.”
