Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly congratulated Eid al-Fitr

چهارشنبه, 14 ارديبهشت 1401

A part of the Secretary-General’s message reads, “We thank God Almighty for allowing us to experience this month once again and enjoy its blessings, the month that is the best time of the year and the time of the revelation of the Quran, the month that the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) used to welcome it by fasting and praying in the two months of Rajab and Sha’ban, the month which, according to Imam Sajjad (a.s.) is the reason for the superiority of the Muslim Ummah over other ummahs, and the month which its farewell causes sorrow for God’s friends, and they relieve their sorrow with a few days of fasting after Eid al-Fitr.”

Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly congratulated Eid al-Fitr

In a message, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani congratulated Eid al-Fitr to members of the General Assembly, local assemblies, cultural centers, missionaries, those who affiliated with the Assembly, and staff of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

The message of the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Imam Ali (a.s.) in his sermon on Eid al-Fitr, said:

O people, this day of yours is a day in which the righteous are rewarded and the sinners feel loss … The lowest reward of a fasting man and woman is that on the last day of Ramadan, an angel announces, “Good tidings to you servants of God that your past sins have been forgiven, and from now on be careful what you will be like in the future.” (Amali Sheikh al-Saduq, Page 100, Hadith No. 10)

Members, missionaries, associates and colleagues of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly,

May God’s peace be upon you

I congratulate you on Eid al-Fitr and the sweetness of the divine reward for a month of fasting.

By the grace of God Almighty, the holy month of Ramadan began this year in better conditions than in recent years and ended more promisingly than them.

This month, in the early days of nature’s spring, began as the Covid 19 evil virus pandemic came to an end, and its remnants and new variants were weakening. Thus, unlike the last two years, the believers were able to hold their religious gatherings well.

Quran recitation gatherings, prayer and recourse ceremonies, Iftar and benevolence ceremonies, Umrah of the Sacred House of God, pilgrimage to the shrines of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and Imams (a.s.) and saints, rituals of the Night of Destiny, mourning on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (a.s.), and finally Eid al-Fitr prayers were held in a glorious and numerous manner all over the world, and frustrated the Satan to separate people from their worship and religious symbols. As Imam Sajjad (a.s.) said in his farewell this month: “السَّلَامُ عَلَیک مِنْ نَاصِرٍ أَعَانَ عَلَى الشَّیطَانِ، وَ صَاحِبٍ سَهَّلَ سُبُلَ الْإِحْسَانِ.” (Peace be upon you, helper who helped us in the fight against the Satan; O friend who made the ways of benevolence paved and easy for us.)

Also, on the last Friday of Ramadan, we witnessed the commemoration of International Quds Day, in which Muslims in the East and West of the world, from Indonesia to the United States, shouted the cause of liberating the first qibla of Muslims.in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.

More promisingly, this year’s International Quds Day rallies and marches took place while the Palestinians living in the occupied territories are in the best conditions for Resistance and have put the Zionist regime in trouble.

We thank God Almighty for that pleasant beginning, and this glorious end, and we prostrate to Him out of servitude.

We say to God: We appreciate this great blessing and thank You for giving us success to experience this month again and enjoy its blessings; the month that is the best time of the year and the time of the revelation of the Quran, the month that the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) used to welcome it by fasting and praying in the two months of Rajab and Sha’ban, the month which, according to Imam Sajjad (a.s.) is the reason for the superiority of the Muslim Ummah over other ummahs, “ثُمَّ آثَرتَنَا بِهِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الاُمَم، واصطَفَيتَنا بِفَضلِهِ دُونَ أهلِ المِلَل” (So you have made us superior to other Ummahs because of this month, and by its blessing you have chosen us from among all nations); and the month which its farewell causes sorrow for God’s friends, and they relieve their sorrow with a few days of fasting after Eid al-Fitr.

Offering my congratulations again, I need to thank you all members of the General Assembly, local assemblies, and cultural centers, as well as the missionaries and associates of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, who commemorates this great month, and during this hoy month you tried to promote the teachings of the Quran and Etrat (AhlulBayt), commemorating rituals of God, guiding the people, helping the poor and supporting the oppressed, by holding various ceremonies.

I hope that the names of all of us, as Imam Ali (as) announced in the sermon of Eid al-Fitr, are registered among those who do good, those who are rewarded, and those who are forgiven; and as he warned, we protect this reward and forgiveness.

“سُبحانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ العِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفون؛ وسلامٌ علَى المُرسَلين؛ والحَمدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العالَمين.”

(Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe* And peace be on the apostles* And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.) (Holy Quran, Surah: As-Saaffat, Verses: 180, 181, 182)

Peace (Salam) be upon you

Reza Ramazani

The Secretary General
