Pointing out that the Islamic Revolution is the prelude to the emergence and creation of Islamic civilization in the world of humanity, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The pure blood of martyrs like General Soleimani has opened a new chapter in the fight against arrogance and dictatorship.”
On Sunday, May 4, 1400, at the Qadr night ceremony of the nineteenth night of Ramadan, near the tomb of the anonymous martyrs of the Islamic Azad University of Rasht, considering it valuable to attend the Qadr Night Ceremony despite the conditions of Covid-19, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani Gilani stated, “The Qadr Nights are the nights of gratitude and establishing a correct and accurate relationship with God.”
“The Qadr Nights have valuable positions due to the revelation of the Quran,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stating that our hearts should be closer to each other on the Qadr Nights.
“As we have been taught in the supplications of Ramadan, we must pray for all the sick and afflicted in the world on these occasions. Because for disease, like poverty and hunger, there is no difference between Muslim and non-Muslim,” he added, stating that man can determine the best destiny for himself on the Qadr Night.
“Everyone should understand the month of Ramadan to the extent of his knowledge and know that this month is a great blessing that has included us,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized, wishing higher ranks for the martyrs of the path to health (Health workers including doctors, nurses, etc., who lost their lives during the period of their service to Covid-19 patients).
“If everyone knows the essence of Ramadan, they ask God that all the months of the year be Ramadan. Blessed are those who have welcomed this month well and see it off well too,” noted the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the virtue of the holy month of Ramadan.
“In the month of Ramadan, God has set a quota for every human being and keeps the doors of his mercy open from the first to the last night of Ramadan,” added Ayatollah Ramazani, saying that all the states of a fasting person, even his sleep, are worship.
“One of the effects of Ramadan is that it can provide the greatest opportunity for man to be closer to God and strengthen his will,” emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“God Almighty has given many existential trusts to human beings that they must know and use,” he stated, pointing out that man is a great trustee and God has seen this merit in human beings.
“It is the formative system that man, without any effort and merit, acquires fitrah (nature) and intellect by the command of God as a blessing,” Ayatollah Ramazani added, saying that according to Quranic verses, duty and intellect are two great trusts from God.
“Reason is the most precious blessing in the possession of man, and those who have reason also have religion and modesty,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, noting that some people could not use properly the trusts given to them by God.
“Sometimes human beings destroy emotion and nature, which results in the loss of feeling and mercy in human beings,” he stated, emphasizing that human beings have made many incorrect uses of reason, nature, and emotion.
“According to Martyr Motahhari, human beings based on their fitra (naturally) inclined to beauties, and love of all beauties and hatred of all ugliness is the meaning of fitra (nature),” stated Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to the anniversary of the martyrdom of Martyr Motahhari and the praise of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution for this Allameh.
“When one cannot take advantage of emotion, intellect, and nature and maintain them, one becomes cold-hearted,” said Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that human fitra (nature) is a trust and should not be ruined.
“Other trusts such as the prophets, religion, divine commandments, and the holy name of truth are to be considered,” he said, pointing out that human beings have misused many formative and existential trusts.
“Unfortunately, we have been very unfaithful to the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and the Holy Quran and we have distanced ourselves from them,” Ayatollah Ramazani added, “Responsibility is a trust and according to Imam Ali (a.s.), the basis of Islam is trust and fidelity.”
“The trustworthy person is the most virtuous person who attains the status of a believer, and the more trustworthy a person is, the more faith he has,” noted the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Traitors have a distorted faith because they have betrayed the trust,” he emphasized, considering it necessary to read the letter of Imam Ali (a.s.) to Malik al-Ashtar.
“Those who neglect their responsibility and betray it will not preserve their souls and their religion and will be disgraced in this world and the Hereafter,” Ayatollah Ramezani stated, referring to letter No. 26 of Nahj al-Balaghah.
Introducing betrayal to the Ummah and nation as the greatest betrayal, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “This kind of betrayal is not forgivable at all.”
“In the Islamic system, people have delegated responsibilities as trusts to the president, minister, representative, member of the city council, etc., and they have given them legitimacy. Therefore, the authorities should make more efforts in providing services,” he stated.
“Imam Ali (a.s.) says in another section about responsibility, “A person who has a responsibility and position, should not use the position for wealth and power. Rather, the responsibility as a trust rests with him and he should maintain it”,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.
“We talk about Imam Ali (a.s.) on the nights of Qadr, but unfortunately, we are very far from the Quran and Imam Ali (a.s.) in terms of behavior,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Unfortunately, many of us have a lot of claims, but in behavior, we are far from them.”
“The Islamic Revolution of Iran was a miracle with lofty ideals”, he continued, considering the revolution and the martyrs as the great blessings entrusted to us.
“The ideals of this revolution have been very high and great and have been entrusted to us,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated, pointing out that the Islamic Revolution seeks to eradicate poverty from society and eliminate the class divide.
“This revolution wants to be the prelude to the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) and Islamic civilization in the world of humanity and to take the leadership of the human world,” noted the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the emphasis of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution on maintaining the trust of the Islamic Revolution.
“Today, the world of liberalism has reached a dead end because it has not been able to provide the spirituality that people need,” he added, stating that the distance between people and debauchery in the present age is considerable.
“The Islamic system can meet these needs and make the world aware of this idea,” Ayatollah Ramazani continued.
“The slightest betrayal of this revolution will be the greatest betrayal,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, pointing out that the Islamic system seeks to confront authoritarianism, humiliation, and betrayals of human society.
“The enemies of Islamic Iran are getting stronger day by day to strike at the system and the revolution, and we must be very careful,” he said, referring to the sinister plans of the enemies of the Islamic system after 42 years since the victory of the revolution.
“The pure blood of martyrs like General Soleimani has opened a new chapter in the fight against arrogance and dictatorship, which makes our responsibility heavier,” Ayatollah Ramazani concluded.
