Extensive proceedings were done by Ahlul Bayt World Assembly in support of Sheikh Isa Qasim, Secretary General said

Secretary General of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) World Assembly, Hojjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hassan Akhtari explained about the extencive proceedings of Assembly in sopprort of Sheikh Isa Qasim.

Following pressure of Al Khalifah on Bahraini people, a delegation of Qom scholars to Iraq met with religious and political figures.

 

Secretary General of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) World Assembly , Hojjat-ul-Islam Val Moslemin Mohammad Hassan Akhtari announced a meeting with Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani: In the case of Sheikh Isa Qassim court and presence of people around his house it is probable to attack people by Al Khalifah, we deemed necessary to proceed new actions, thus Assembly Supreme Council decided to send a delegation to Iraq to meet with scholars and specifically with Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani.

 

"The delegation of scholars are as follows: Ayatollah Taskhiri, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, Hojjat-ol-Islam Navvab and I met some scholars including Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani," he added.

 

"The delegation moved to Iraq on Monday and met some scholars in Najaf. We asked them to do some actions. In Baghdad we met PM and president of The Supreme Islamic Council that both declared they had done some actions and some will be taken too," Secretary General continued.

 

"The aim of the journey was to reflect Bahrain’s oppression, although they were aware of it and we emphasized the issue as well," he said.

 

Akhtari noted that according to religious duty, it is Ahlul Bayt (A.S) World Assembly’s responsibility to take some actions, following up the position of Ahlul Bayt believers in different countries so that sending the message of Bahrain’s oppressed people and our journey was in this regard.

 

"We are responsible for various Islamic countries including Bahrain, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Nigeria. When we witness oppression against Ahlul Bayt’s followers we would consult with International scholars and institutions," he added.

 

Letter was sent to Ban Ki Moon and various international institutions

 

Hojjat-ul-Islam Val Moslemin Mohammad Hassan Akhtari pointing to the actions and consulting of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) World Assembly in Bahrain’s issues said: In recent Bahrain’s case, deprive of s Sheikh Isa Qasim nationality, trial of Sheikh Isa Qasim, we sent a number of letters to Qom and Najaf Grand Ayatollahs as well as politicians in different countries and explained the issues to them.

 

"Last week I wrote a letter to UN Secretary General and asked him to claim responsibility for Bahrain’s issues and not confining to condemning Al Khalifah. I wrote a letter to Human Rights Watch too," he added.

 

Secretary General of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) World Assembly, Hojjat-ol-Islam Val Moslemin Mohammad Hassan Akhtari noted: I wrote separate letters to the president Rouhani and Head of Islamic Council to take necessary actions in order to unite against illegal Skeihk Isa Qasim’s nationality deprivation, because no government has the right to deprive of citizenship.

 

"Al Khalifah’s actions in court of law were unjust, even though people have surrounded prominent scholar not be attacked," he continued.

 

Al Khalifah’s actions are medieval

 

Hojjat-ol-Islam Hassan Akhtari pointed to Al Khalifah and said: Not only followers of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) but also Moslems and all noblemen in the world are acknowledged that pressure on Bahrain’s people is Medieval and today in no country such a government is seen.

 

Secretary General of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) World Assembly, Hojjat-ol-Islam Val Moslemin Mohammad Hassan Akhtari continued: Al Khalifah has support by Al Saud, Israel, and European countries. And if crimes are not committed by their governments’ command directly at least is done by their silence.

 

"When someone who is imprisoned or killed on the charges of espionage, Western countries dispute but are silent on Yemen’s people killings by American bombs though," he added.

 

He noted: "There is a paradoxical attitude toward Syria and Bahrain, in one side they support terrorist against legal government and on the other side support Al Khalifah’s dictatorship against peaceful movement of Bahrain’s people."

 

At the end he mentioned: I hope whole scholars of Islam do their duties in the issue and express simultaneously their hatred of Al Khalifah and support of oppressed Bahrain’s people.
